MADHOUSE

Having fun playing Madhouse, as it was gifted to me by a friend that also enjoys playing it. The story mode is fun, at the time of this review it is still in early access. It is enjoyable to learn about the characters backstory, and the boss battles are a fun challenge too. The multiplayer is also extremely entertaining as you can battle your friends in a deathmatch or team deathmatch. Looking forward to the release date for the full game.

madhouse.....even in early access ive been having way to much fun with this game. a mixture of SNES style and light souls like gameplay with music by pale death hitting me just right. if anything i encourage you to pick this up for the multiplayer and the story. looking forward to the game as updates roll out.

Madhouse is probably the most fun I've had in a multiplayer pvp game in a long, long time. Really easy to get used to the controls, and there's some nice depth here with strafing and rolling. With 4 players it's fast-paced chaos, and getting lucky and grabbing an uber-powerful weapon out of a chest and completely obliterating your foes with an airstrike or laser beam is the best feeling you will ever feel in your entire life and in the next life. The variety of characters is awesome (each obviously lovingly crafted), each one feels so unique with different stats and special abilities. Want to be a human torch and light people on fire? Turn into a spinning blade of death? Be a teleporting clown? Live your dreams. Lots of multiplayer stages already available for early access, all of them are a blast, all different and unique. Some are more dangerous than others (the junkyard level has the most OSHA violations imo). On top of this, there's a fun and pretty challenging single player mode, being methodical and careful will get you far (but you do have to take risks at times). Epic boss battles. Can't wait to see the story continue. This is madness? No, THIS IS MADHOUSE!!
