Lux, City of Secrets

It's good. Like the other two games. But it had no business being 'the first half of a two-part epic', and it certainly should not be more expensive than the other two, perfectly fine and finished games. I don't know if the continuation will be sold separately, but it really shouldn't.

Another good chapter in the Evertree series. I'm guessing like a few people who have been playing these as they come, an option to create a save from the end of Sordwin (Book 2) was not available to me, for anyone who doesn't dupe their characters this will probably be frustrating. I would advise people to keep a duplicate of your end game state somewhere, so that you can do what I did and copy and paste them into your game, which worked out fine for the characters I didn't play as through book 2 again. As for the story, it's 'part 1', so don't expect all your questions to be answered and while the game might only take place over a few days, the number of options for what to do during those days will mean that seeing everything will be impossible with one play-through. But the real draw here of course is continuing your own MC's story through a continuum of characters and actions that build to a unique story of your own choosing, and on that front I was more than satisfied. I hope Part 2 is well on its way.
