one of my favorite vn
this is the first visual novel that has kept me entertained for all the 13 hours i played it. why did my favorite character have to be the killer? and there is no good ending..there never was.

To start this off, I think the story was very good and I liked all the characters. I liked the bonding that you were able to have with each of them and having that option was nice. THE ONLY REASON this review is negative is because of the ending. Even after playing the epilogue content, the message is kinda clear for what the story is trying to tell you, but in my opinion, it just feels like I wasted my time. To play through this entire story for hours only to have it end in such an unsatisfying way makes me wonder why I even needed to play this in the first place. Not only that, but to end it on a "to be continued..."? Really?
To have Rui die even after you go through so much effort to try and make sure she survives the encounter with Ryouta feels so dumb to me. Yes, that can be pretty realistic, and yes, unexpected things happen all the time. But this just feels super undeserved, especially considering what the story was leading you to believe.
Despite this, I'm still interested enough to see where this story goes, considering it's clearly not over. I'd be willing to play a potential sequel, whenever that decides to come out.
Also, justice for Akira. Love triangles suck.
Rating: 6.5/10
My short review + novel rating. It's a good novel. not my favourite but a good one that's worth a read if you enjoy visual novels. I liked it. In the beginning part you may be fooled to think this is a cute novel about cliché high school things but there is more than meet's the eye. Take my expert word for it. also, it's free. My rating: 7/10
