About
Disclaimer:
Lu[Idle] does not have a large amount of content and there is a lot of waiting, hence the "idle" part of the name. I put Lu[Idle] on steam as a way to showcase my creation. There are planned updates but no plan on when they will be worked on, and If you have any criticism or feedback, you are welcome to share it with me on my discord server.

In Lu[Idle] you play as a game developer making a Lua game but instead of coding you are clicking. Make your game huge by clicking and getting Bytes which is the amount of storage your game takes up and as we all know more Gigabytes = better game. Type commands into the console to make code that brings your games storage up automatically, upgrade your mouse to gain more bytes per click and drink some coffee for a boost and purchase a server to make your game even bigger. Get immersed and become a Lua game developer today in Lu[Idle]. This game is very early access and is lacking a lot of features that I intend to add and the price will most likely increase as updates come.
Key Features
Upgradable Code Snippets to Increase your Bytes per Second
Console to Input various Commands found in the Commands Folder Tab
Upgrades Tab to Increase your Games Size even more
Release your game and gain sales to make your future games better (prestige)

Not that far into the game, but it seems really promising and it's really fun.
Its very fun! I like to take hours out of my day to play Lu(Idle). It's the only thing that makes me feel accomplished in life anymore, and honestly, im much happier this way!!
When I opened this game is was just simply mesmerized. I soon as i clicked the button my shaft became rock hard. As I clicked more the harder I became. My grandma came into my room as I was playing this game and she noticed my magic wand and lets just say she helped me cast a spell.

This is a tentative yes. As the game currently stands, it's a bare-bones idle / clicker game. There is no polish, no bells and whistles. It's just a simple game. At it's price, you can justify it's state. I have no idea if the developer is planning to do anything more with the game or not, and that will decide if it's a good game, or just a simple game.

Progress felt too slow for me, i played for about 3 hours before even seeing a few green pixels over in the "game window". The moment you can unlock an upgrade, that automatically becomes the most cost vs time effective upgrade, so you dont really feel compelled to rebuy older upgrades as it is essentially a waste of money. Also, the cost for "manual clicking" is simply not worth spending time doing, as the auto-earners very quickly reach a point where you simply cannot click fast enough... Here comes the Combo System, which i must admit i kind of like, as it rewards you for your precision, however I feel again, that the benefit of the combo is too little. You earn more pr click, for each Dot you click, and the dot respawns in a new location after clicking it. The increase in reward ramps up, but fairly slowly. So you're more inclined to just spamclick real fast early on... and later in the game you earn more from just idling. Music was pretty chill. For the price of free, you cant really argue, however I feel like there's better alternatives out there. If the game looked at its onboarding and ramped up the early game, then more players would at least experience the "story rich" content the game says it has :)
Progression kinda sucks but its good overall just many better out there
good idle game
