"LoveTalks" is an appalling "dating sim" where the developer lives out his fantasy of creeping around a high school and trying to date high school girls and steal their underwear. Needless to say I've reported this one to Steam. I gotta say it has to be tough for this developer to have imaginary high school anime girlfriends when he isn't allowed within 200m of a school. Noah, get the boat. So, putting borderline criminal levels of creepiness aside, it's hard to describe this as a game, the focus of the product is more like that of an e-book/visual novel, there's only minor, shallow and uninteresting gameplay elements. The crux of this is to push some very low quality, badly done fan-fiction tier writing, where we see once more a developer fail to understand the importance of "Show, don't tell", and for whatever reason, weren't able to convey their narrative through gameplay, giving us endless lines of badly written e-book text instead. My gaming rig is not a kindle. The poor quality graphics look like they're from asset stores or a construction kit. So until Valve removes this garbage, it still looks like an asset flip. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 4 concurrent players (all of whom are probably on watch lists now)... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. I hope that Valve takes action against this soon.
really cool movement mechanics. some girl kept loosing her pants, quite smexy. 10/10 humour. 10/10 teacher. sad the game doesn't have the freaky freaky scene with the teacher. loved the character designs, so much personality. really difficult puzzles. some girl made me act like a dog. WOOF, WOOF. PLAY THIS GAME!
