It's free, only took an hour to read and I did enjoy it. No animations but the art was pretty good. Made me want to get to second part. Worked great on the Steam Deck without any tinkering.
Эро-новелла минут на 15 в сеттинге тёмного фэнтези. Не переведена, но чтобы не выбрал, всё равно будет sex. Милая, ламповая рисовка в виде комиксов.
Hot and funny! Refreshing in this AI slop era. Hyped for Night Two <3

There is vending machine for all your ammunition and health needs. Was able to beat all 3 bosses. I would highly recommend rocket launcher for easy boss kill. Several different types of minions. With new harder enemies as waves progress. Recommend headshot for fast killing. Finally something really funny that I found was you can hit the letter "K" on your keyboard for kill command. Makes me cry everytime ;)
Played on Steam Deck w/ no issues. As per the content flags & nature of the pornographic genre, Love Sucks leans heavily on getting the characters together in certain locations so that sexual action can take place but unlike most media in the genre, there’s a thin layer of appreciation for the characters, their dynamics & history beyond the vapid norm of ‘hollow vassels & sex at first contact’. The two main things for a visual novel are Art & Writing, In the case of Love Sucks: Night One, both are great and compliment each other perfectly with fun designs & dialogue, lively characters with entertaining dynamics, simple yet interesting monster world building & a tinge of fourth wall breaks when it comes to driving the plot forward. Speaking of plot, The franchise takes place during a halloween weekend, features monster girls, a miniscule mystery, groundhog day antics and an aptly named Macguffin necklace to progress the relationships & story of those involved. It does a great job playing within the framework of a visual novel whilst prodding the fourth wall to allow for your choices to play out before setting you back on track to continue the story without save scumming; it is on the nose but fun nonetheless. While a few erotic scenarios are trite, they are fun due to the art and build up nonetheless and while certain scenes use the word ‘member’ as a replacement for penis, ♥♥♥♥ etc; too much for my liking, it takes nothing from the experience.
Conclusion
I originally had Night Two (the paid sequel) on my wishlist without knowing of this game’s existence and after a cleanse of my Steam Wishlist I decided to play what I assumed to be the “demo” of the paid game prior to purchase or removal and to my surprise I enjoyed the few hours Night One provided and the sequel remains on my wishlist for a deeper sale. If any part of the Love Sucks store page piqued your interest I recommend downloading Night One and giving it a go, even more so if you’re on the edge about Night Two, as Night One provides about 2 hours+ of Visual Novel Gameplay & a great foundation on each character. Slanessh-ussy (my keyword for the ground hog day ritual activation)
decent package especially for being free. art style is great but also a bit cartoony for me and the backgrounds look a bit off at times, like they're all in one point perspective and in a super low angle. the music was slightly distracting especially that stock music track they kept playing so i just played spotify at some point. it's also like kinda boring. 4/10, it's hit or miss for me.
это просто ахуенно
