It is (imo) a classic dating sim centered around being a legal firm's secretary and part-time sleuth. I would say it is a good entry level game to the genre of dating sims/otome games. Very much slow burn vibes.
It's a product of its time in terms of game design and stat raising, but I don't think it deserves the vitriol as a free game.
"Love and Order" — атмосферная визуальная новелла с глубоким сюжетом, где каждый выбор влияет на развитие отношений и финал. Эмоциональные диалоги, красивая графика и запоминающаяся музыка создают погружение в историю. Игра сочетает романтику с драмой, но может показаться медленной из-за большого количества текста. Подойдёт ценителям моральных дилемм и сложных сюжетных веток.

Love and Order offers a light and charming otome experience with a fun twist — solving cases while building romantic relationships. The premise is refreshing, and the mix of mystery and romance makes the story engaging, especially for those who enjoy a slower-paced narrative with a hint of detective work. The characters are likable and distinct, each with their own charm, and the dialogue feels natural most of the time. However, the story progression can feel a bit repetitive, and the investigative gameplay, while interesting at first, doesn’t evolve much as you go deeper into the game. Some choices also feel like they don’t have much weight, which slightly weakens the replay value. Overall, Love and Order is a cozy and enjoyable experience — perfect for those looking for a relaxing otome with a sprinkle of mystery. It might not be groundbreaking, but it’s a sweet and satisfying story to spend a few evenings with. 💼💗
It's ok for a freebe. I find the repetitiveness relaxing, and the graphics are cute. Also, it's refreshing to play an otome that takes place in Canada. But there is really very little content (the dates with the guys are all exactly the same, for example), so I'd be disappointed if I'd paid any money for this.

My copy may be broken. I've re downloaded i several times and verified the file integrity, but I just can't receive the mail needed to progress in game.
This game is one of those terrible 'stat raising' dating games like one you'd find on, say, Newgrounds back in the early 2000s. Even worse, balancing stats is exhausting if you want to keep up with your work, and even if you actually have time to do dates between all that, the dates are short and boring with next to no story. I also hate how the characters get mad at you for not doing work for them specifically for too long, even if, say, another attorney in the office is overloading you with work. Like, they all expect you to play assistant to them at all times and get mad at you even if you're working all the time and doing overtime and doing everything you're asked and more, just because you're not currently offering to help on whatever case they're assigned. It's exhausting. I hear theres a bit of a mystery thing going on later in the game but honestly even if i got to it I don't think I'd be able to find time to look into it with all the stat building you have to do just to stay afloat. This game feels like actual work. I feel like i should be getting PAID to play this pile of garbage, that's how much drudgery it is. And as if all that weren't bad enough, the game takes place in Quebec.
