About
Lost Skies: Island Creator allows you to create your very own island for the upcoming co-op survival game Lost Skies. Create your own sky island full of stunning vistas and brutal enemies, then release it into the world via the Steam Workshop!
Create Your Own Island
The Lost Skies: Island Creator is a free standalone tool where you can create the island of your dreams or your friend’s nightmares. Form the basic look of your island using simple geometric shapes, then sculpt away until you get your island looking exactly how you imagined it. Want a giant cave system or mountain range going through the island? You can do it!
Decorate Your Island
Create a beautiful island filled with lush forests and stunning vistas or an island full of mystery and danger littered with foreboding caves full of dense fog and dangerous ruins filled with enemies and traps. No matter what you choose, you will be able to bring your island to life!
Create Puzzles and Add Threats
Not every island is peaceful. Add dangerous threats such as enemy drones or create puzzles for players to solve to find treasure. How hostile (and rewarding) you make your island is up to you!
Share Your Island with the World!
After you’ve put the finishing touches on your island, upload it to the Steam Workshop for other players to explore! Change your mind? You can freely edit and re-upload your island as often as you’d like for everyone to enjoy!

Join the Discord to join the active Lost Skies community filled with creative visionaries and eager explorers who are helping to shape the future of the game!

a mi lo que me gusto fue el gancho jeje espero el juego completo... si tuviera PvP seria la locura
Islands cant actually be found/placed in the main game. Also the drone threat dispenser does not work
i love making islands now, long time WA player and lost skies player. loving the potential to add more content to our beloved universe.

Game is unplayable. Game has incredibly high graphics by default and there is no graphics options so there`s no way to change it
Really fun to build and test islands with. [strike]Could use an autosave feature![/strike] It has an autosave feature!
this is amazing! the art style is beutiful, the music is so nice to listen to, and the creation tools are actuly pretty comprehensive and easy to use. getting it to start for the first time was a bit of a pain in the ass, but that might have something to do with the sub-par system im running. its also extremly nastalgic for me because i used to play worlds adrift back when the servers were still running. over all, i am very satisfied with my expirience with this game. (cut me some slack if some words are spelled wrong, im not a good speller.)
It's already looking very similar to Worlds Adrift but with some new additions as well. I cannot wait for the actual release like I am excited because World Adrift was so good back then so I cannot wait for it, anyways I know it's gonna be peak and cool introduction with us being able to create our own islands.
This Editor is fun to use and rather easy to learn, but it could do with some improvements. Possible Improvements: - I miss some windows-typical shortcuts like Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V to copy and paste elements - movement / editing is sometimes confusing (at least for me, coming from technical CAD programs) - connection of inputs/outputs is buggy and doesn't work that well - i miss a function to mark an item and place it somewhere "where i look" because dragging it from one side of the island to the other, can sometimes be a bit tricky - I would love to have an Area-System, where i can define areas for mass-spawning items (f. ex. wood-, cave-, ruins-, scrap-areas) because sometins i start with one detail and afterwards think "hmm.. the map could use more trees" but i don't want them to spawn in my cave or my ruins. - it would be helpful to have an option for custom planes, to make it more easy to create a room with a 30° angle or other projects that just don't fit into the 90° planes. - Snapping for some objects like floors and walls would be nice What's good: - I think the placement works pretty well, most of the times and i love that there are scripts pre-set for certain puzzles, so i only have to connect leavers to doors, etc. - Auto-creation of terrain works well - i like the test-function where i can spawn in my own map (also the simulate ragdolls function) - switching between world- and item-gizmo is great - simulation of day- and night-cycle helps with areas, where you want too highlight a spot at a certain time of day I like creating stuff for game, but i didn't do anything like it since the TES-Editor for Morrowind, so thanks for making this tool! :)
