A fun little point and click mystery game. It has kept me occupied trying to figure out what us next.
So far I'm very much enjoying the game. It's a point and click, story heavy game. You have been left an inheritance by your grandfather, his cabin, now yours. Through found letters you find that your grandfather wants you to leave the town, though by what means you'll have to play to find out. You start by collecting roaches to use as fishing bait and from there you can start to craft and sell items in order to make the money needed to do as your grandfather wished.
Decent game. Kept me entertained and I never felt bored. I like the pacing and mechanics. I remember the first time I played through it I never realized shopkeepers have a buy/sell by their portrait until a bit into the game. Besides that it is solid. Not much else to say.

The endgame only takes a bit over an hour if you're ambitious, but packs a lot into that amount of time that left me wanting more! It feels like the creator genuinely enjoyed making this game and took a lot of time and care with it. It's one of the better point and click games I've played in a long time with easy to understand mechanics and a compelling story. Highly recommend if you like mysteries or point and click games in general~!

"Lost Remnant: The End Tides" is a very badly made mobile app style "clicker", the developer admits it's intended to be a ripoff of Hero of the Kingdom, itself a garbage mobile/browser tier game, but this one is worse in every respect, from the kitbashed looking "art" down to the way the developer couldn't work out how to make the game run properly in 16:9 resolution, so it's 4:3 aspect ratio. What a joke! What do you do in the game? Just click on stuff, really. This is a lot like 12 Labours of Hercules, you know, the mobile app you could beat if you wrote a helper that just taps everywhere on your phone screen? Same deal... valueless as a real PC game. The graphics aren't great... that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 8 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
Fun little point and click escape room / adventure game with a deep story and wonderfully appropriate (by which I mean creepy) music. It's about a 2-3 hour play-through if you take it easy and try to find everything. Recommend for a dark, rainy, gaming-and-chill evening.
A clever little game, which I enjoyed quite a lot. A story-driven resource management with point-and-click control, this game is more of an experience than a challenge. The whole fun lies in trying to put together the story, based on messages which the player slowly unlocks by playing the resource procurement part of the game. There was a big possibility the game would be boring, seeing that it has no real challenge or even a possibility to loose, but the story and the mood are what make it a really enjoyable experience. Fully recommended to anyone liking mystery with Lovecraftian, eldritch undertones.
