amma just say that the art for this game is peak. the quality is maintained all throughout the game, and i love the compositions for the instapix photos we posted, as well as the godawful puns for the names of the celebrities we took a selfie with. the comic-style introductions for each story is really fun and cute and whimsical, and it adds a lot of personality to the characters that are otherwise just sprites for the majority of the game. the art works well for the cozy vibe that the game is going for, and the background music enhances the vibes by being all warm and happy and fuzzy. the sound design for each clickable object just makes me wanna spam click everything cuz it just fits so well. my favorites are.. honestly any of the interactable animals. they're so cute! story-wise, it's not revolutionary and neither are the characters. though, i do find both compelling and enjoyable for what was offered. even if you decide to play with your brain off, you can still follow the plot without much hassle cuz it's not exactly complex. [spoiler]though honestly i wish we could've hosed down zorro in the final confrontation lmao.[/spoiler] overall, it's a pretty high quality cozy game, and if there's a sequel of any sorts, i'd definitely be queueing up for it! [spoiler]cuz no way zorro is gonna be the mayor, and i'd rather kick him and his okcorp out of town for my piece of mind.[/spoiler]
