Loved the game but low key hated the whole b-day party, I did not like how she acted while drunk. Other than that, I reconmend!
A visual novel where you can chose between 4 types of answers each time, ranging from mean to flirty. Although it doesn't change the direction of the story, it does alter some interactions, which is nice. The story was pretty interesting and wholesome, but I found the last part a bit strange as Hana feels like a completely different person. I know that's intended, but I don't really get why such a setting was chosen. Also, in this part, the dialogue choices made before only affect like, 2 lines, which is quite underwhelming. Lastly, I find sad that some minor characters have voicelines in certain parts but Hana doesn't for some reason, even though she had a good voiced intro. Overall, I don't regret playing it, but the writing of the last part feels a bit rushed, which pulls down an overall nice VN.

THE BAD ENDING WAS SO CRUEL😭
I couldn't possibly bear it to be mean to Hana. She may be a bit annoying, but she has a good heart. The whole game overall was surprisingly heartfelt. And after meeting Hana first in Repurpose,
watching her (almost) death take place was even more saddening. I was just so glad I was able to prevent it from happening.
The only thing I didn't personally like about this game -- and I must be clear, this is very much a Me thing -- was the offhanded line from the MC that Hana must have "the dinosaur 'tism" because of her interest in paleontology. I'm autistic and I just don't like it when people throw assumptions around like that, or call autism cute nicknames like "the tism" -- whenever I see it, it just makes me feel like people are downplaying autism to be something funny or memey. Even if Hana really IS autistic (in-universe, she doesn't believe she is and has never been evaluated, but she has a few traits, so its kind of ambiguous), it's still an extremely rude assumption to make of someone, and the line came off as belittling and backhanded to me. Especially on the "kind" route. Strangers have made that assumption about me before because of random things I do, like listen to the same song over and over, and while that assumption ends up being correct about me, it still...just comes off as really random and jerkish to make direct assumptions about me to my face when you barely know me, if that makes sense? like whether I'm autistic or not isn't really any of your business unless I choose to disclose it to you yk? So when people say something like that to me, it felt hurtful. I felt hurt that I, as the MC, would say that to Hana without any other option. TO BE CLEAR: I know that the dev is ND themself and I am sure they did not in any way mean that line in bad faith, and that it's literally just a few throwaway sentences, and that this is just a minor nitpick --- but I still didn't like seeing it, especially from a player character that's supposed to be me. It felt offhandedly hurtful. :( EDIT: I guess I wasn't on the Kind route after all, I must've been on the Neutral or Playful route? Cause I tried the game a second time where I tried being even nicer to Hana, and the backhanded autism line didn't pop up. If the line is MEANT to be backhanded and rude, then yeah that's different haha -- I still didn't love seeing it, but if it serves a purpose to show that the MC is rude or mean I guess it has its place? Other than that, it's a sweet and short little game with some lovely art. Just promise to please be kind to Hana ok? 🥺 She's not a loser, she's just trying her best. All she needs is a good friend.
