Numbers Go Up, But Does the Fun?
Loot Grind Simulator is exactly what its name suggests: an idle clicker built around the thrill of watching numbers climb and loot piles grow. It taps into the addictive loop of incremental progress—defeat enemies, gather items, level up, and repeat. At its best, it scratches the same itch as other incremental games: the satisfaction of steady growth with minimal effort. The interface is clean enough to follow, with rows of stats, gear slots, and simple visuals that highlight your progress without distracting from the main loop. It’s easy to get into—you start clicking, your hero earns loot, and soon enough the game takes over, grinding automatically while you make small upgrades. The appeal lies in that background sense of progression, like checking back in to see how much stronger your character has become. However, Loot Grind Simulator suffers from the same pitfalls that many idle games face. After the initial novelty, the progression slows down dramatically. Unlocks and upgrades come at an increasingly sluggish pace, making it feel more like waiting than playing. The “grind” in the title is accurate: after a certain point, you’re more a spectator than an active participant. Another issue is variety—or rather, the lack of it. The gameplay loop doesn’t evolve much beyond upgrading stats and gathering more of the same loot. There are no big surprises or systems that meaningfully change how you engage after the first couple of hours. Without that depth, the grind becomes tedious instead of rewarding. Audio and visuals are minimal, which fits the idle genre but also makes the experience feel barebones. A stronger soundtrack, more animations, or even just more distinctive loot presentation could have elevated the experience and made the grind more engaging. For fans of idle clickers who enjoy watching numbers rise with little input, Loot Grind Simulator can serve as a satisfying background companion. For others, it may feel like an uninspired grind with little payoff. It’s a game that does what it says on the tin, but doesn’t go much further.
The Good:
- Simple and accessible design—easy to pick up and understand. - Satisfying short-term progression as loot and stats pile up. - Works well as a background game to check on casually.
The Bad :
- Progression slows down heavily, leading to long stretches of waiting. - Very limited variety—little changes after the first few hours. - Minimal audio/visual presentation makes the grind feel flat. Simple idle game, doesn't take too long to finish
simple brainless clicking/progression. great lil distraction when you just want to turn off your brain, but still want to feel like you are making progress in something. easy to complete achievements in about 2 hours. all loot levels seem to continue to grow over time even after you reach the highest tier, so you have the potential to get level 9999 or higher if you just keep at it. quests seem to be based on average equipment level worn, so the faster you fill out your loadout with similar lvls, the faster your quest lvls increase to more rapidly progress. good to play with a podcast/lengthy video playing to keep your attention while keeping an eye on clicking quests.
Funny.. I've joked about D&D 6.0 being an app just like this. A little polishing and you might be able to sell this to wotc.
Good game but needs more actions for us to do. Add Rebirth or make us apply the gear or something. 3/5 rating
Klikasz zadanie, dostajesz nagrodę, awansujesz i to wszystko.
I've played a few idle/clicker games before and I really enjoy them. But this isn't one of those games.. there's not much to do in it and nothing seems to be connected to anything else. The only thing in its favor is that you can reach 100% in less than 2 hours. Apart from that, I don't recommend it to anyone.
