9.5/10 jrpg游戏向来有一个我很不喜欢的缺点——道具不能够为我所用。似乎所有冒险中收集的物品都只是用来收藏。而当这一缺点被生存恐怖属性弥补,那么你就得到了这么一款独一无二的独立神作。在我看来这是我见过的rpgmaker游戏中游戏性最好的一作,它不会随着流程推进而让我对战斗系统感到乏味,因为每只怪物不仅都长得像boss,还让我一直刚好打得过和打不过之间徘徊,也就让策略成为了极为重要的部分。相较于饥饿与恐惧,本作更类似于jrpg,因为到了后期基本上就没有什么恐怖氛围了。因此我不认为本作流程太长是扣分项,甚至我还觉得有点短。总之,真心推荐。
Look Outside is a must have. An 'at least try it' if you can stomach the visuals. Its' music deserves its own review. You can sing its' praises like it is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ King in Yellow. And at the end of the day, when it beats you down and drags your ass to 'whatever just killed you fate worse then hell', props itself up as a rogue-like. You will want to start your entire game over if not load a prior save and do stuff differently, see what changes then use the best new game feature any game can have, knowledge checkpoints. Didja ♥♥♥♥♥♥' learn? This game is filled with so much flavor text it is surprising they had time to make a game around it. That potted plant outside your apartment *had* your spare key, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wish I didn't check that. Then somehow they managed to make so many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sprites that every few minutes you are saying "what the ♥♥♥♥ am I looking at". Then if you don't kill that ♥♥♥♥ fast enough you say "Oh god, they somehow made it worse". Not in a disrespectful way but in admiration of trying to understand what it is and what it is about to do, a core tenet of cosmic horror. But allow me to go on length about a minor NPC design, skip next section if you don't care. Look at Kaeley, every part of them screams lockpicking toolkit was thrown into a blender, from the various bent fingers, to the spring lock teeth, the keyhole eyes and just the various holes in their body and if it wasn't apparent enough, dangling keys. But then you have the flavor, when she speaks she has a K-k-k- stutter with Ks, like the sounds you'd make if you were locking picking. They didn't have to do that but that is how much thought went behind this one minor character with a singular purpose. Which brings me to the final appreciation of the design, RESTRAINT. They didn't throw in a random door knob or go "well you unlock safes too" so give her some tumblers or a keypad those lock too, NO! they stopped. The only thing you could argue about missing from her design is slots for disks because that is a major locking mechanic in the game. For a stark contrast look Bobby in Date Everything. Not that the design is bad this was just a joke. This game has excelled in every metric and all of my complaints about it are: I just don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like turnbased rpgs and I don't want to be coddled and have this game change in anyway to appease me. This game is a love letter to horror in ways I didn't think were possible and even if you think you know what is going to happen it subverts and pulls on your heart. THIS GAME. Makes you feel bad sometimes. It will make you think your doing the right thing and then guide you with helpful reminders of what you were doing or who was looking for something; only to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ release a reference to a popular horror story that makes you go: Oh ♥♥♥♥. You know how bad this is and urgent this must be stopped. Then it puts you on a clock, gives you choices and now, live with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ consequences. this game is amazing though without a guide you miss SO MUCH in your first playthrough Luckily I had a friend help me through getting some harder to get companions and figure out what some items do.(trying not to spoil so I'm being vague). I LOVE the art style and the key binds feel much nicer than similar games. One thing I would add to the movement is diagonals, like in Deltarune/Undertale you can strafe diagonally and I really appreciate that as i come from that media. I already owned this game in my steam family. I bought it for no reason just to leave a review. This is one of the best games I have ever played in my entire life. The Music, The Atmosphere, The Characters, The Overall Story, just absolutely phenomenal. Offers a way to play for everyone including the "new" cursed mode offering a greater challenge for returning players. Tons of different endings, recruitable party members, people you can interact with at the door, meals to make, games to play, items to craft, superbosses to fight. It has it all. insane replay value with so many interesting enemies and characters you can meet just by changing how you do things a bit. If you play on survivor/cursed you do not benefit from autosave, making getting back to the apartment to save a genuinely terrifying experience as you fight your way through the horrors of the apartment complex. There is just so much to do and see. I can't recommend this game enough. This game will stick with me the rest of my life.

De los mejores juegos que he jugado en mi vida,su originalidad ,su musica ,su "simpleza"con el diseño en pixel art que a mi siempre tanto me gusto porque hace que te imagines tu un poco mas el escenario . Gore hasta los huesos,momentos que recordar y que te hacen quedarte pensando en lo pequeños que llegan a ser algunos problemas y lo pequeño que somos cuando nos comparamos con el universo. Muy lovecraftiano muy original y muy lleno de emocion.Sin duda lo recomiendo
[b]Whatever you do, don't look outside.[/b] Look Outside was a pleasant surprise for the $5 (on sale) price tag. Okay, an amazing surprise. First of all, you can probably run this game on a toaster. Second, the story, and the characters, are all-consuming as soon as you start, and you won't want to put it down. Everybody in the apartment complex feels alive - feral and mutated, maybe, but full of life nonetheless. The tension and mystery surrounding the end of the world as we know it just outside our window is phenomenal. Last, the gameplay itself - the exploration, the combat, the management of your apartment - is, in my eyes, about as close to perfect as you can get. It's fun, and it's [u]addicting[/u]. Each new day brings new surprises - [i]wait a minute, who's at the door? ...Just the meat salesman trying to offload some eyeballs.[/i] With all that said, Whatever you do, [b]You should look outside[/b] :)
