A genuinely unique take on the apocalypse trope with both nuance and heart. One of the things I adore about this game is the autonomy you get. Where you go and what you do, who you speak with, trust, or attack are almost all completely up to your own choice, and all of your choices, or even lack thereof, lead to consequences in your run. And often these outcomes are a tradeoff between bad and good, rather than being simply one or the other. Hours of consistently fun gameplay combined with a large world of heartfelt and terrifying stories to unravel, amazing art and soundtrack and quality mechanics make this game worth every penny and more. I highly reccomend :)

This game is one of the best rpg game I ever played, it made me collect all endings and achievements. The story is really interesting and I love the big twist. It has good humor with a lot of body horror. The gameplay itself has high replayability. Endings, the builds, your companions and secrets make you play several times to try all of them. Every dungeon is fun to play, except one in the end(The flooded level) but it's skippable. The save mechanic gives good survivor experience with time management. The music and art is great. I love Pierre's and Jeanne's sprites, they're so adorable. Sometimes I just want to stay in room or in boss fight to listen their themes. Although the game has some bugs, but it won't ruin your play and will be fixed in future patches. I recommend this game to anyone who like to play turn based rpg game with good challenge. But it's better if you play blind in easy mode firstly and try survivor or cursed mode with guild help to get all content. Overall, fantastic game. The best turn based horror game out there, The closest is fear&hunger series, but funger is all about sexual horror and shock value so its not as good plus this dev actually updates the game often.
