Little Nightmares II

Before writing this I checked my review of the first game, hoping that I had enjoyed it so that maybe I could write a more positive review on this sequel. However my feelings about the first have carried over. Again I applaud the designers for creating a visually beautiful game - the artwork is fantastic and the atmosphere well crafted. But the controls are still clunky (I see that I tried using my USB controller for the first game and it didn't help so the fact that I didn't bother this time is a relief) and the precision needed is too severe. This game needs a difficulty control. Some of the sequences seem to allows for virtually zero error so players like me have to play it over and over again until getting it right and moving to the next checkpoint. This caused me such frustration that I resorted to Wand so that I could cheat and continue the game. However in the final sequence of the game with big six I finally gave up. The frustration level was just too high and for me it was no longer a game but a keyboard dexterity challenge. I read the walkthrough to the end and so decided that I no longer needed to complete it. On this basis I am giving it a "No" recommendation.
