Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Jul 24 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSQmgaMb9eM
Liminal Waters was a breath of fresh air.
Liminal Waters takes you on a silent and lonely journey through liminal spaces that feel familiar, cosmic, otherworldly and historical. The thing I love about these spaces is that they contain real life elements, but they feel like they belong nowhere. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYI7UgCRS_s
Liminal Waters is not the best liminal space game.
And I am gonna be completely honest about that since the best liminal space game I have played so far this year was Dreamcore, LiminalCore and Escape The Backrooms. I do have a thing for these sorts of spaces, it feels like your soul coming home when you visit them. For the price I payed for this game it had a lot of content. There are 11 levels, and some of them are really large with plenty of things to see and explore. https://store.steampowered.com/app/4015300/LIMINAL_WATERS/
👎Hit or miss – Starts as brilliant liminal horror, ends as a generic walking simulator
Rating: 2.5 / 5 stars LIMINAL WATERS starts off absolutely fantastic. The early stages (especially the Poolrooms) capture the liminal atmosphere perfectly. The vibe of familiar, white tiles and empty, man-made transitional spaces creates a deep, claustrophobic sense of paranoia. It was exactly what I came for. Unfortunately, it completely falls apart halfway through.
Lost Identity
Once you reach the Egypt/desert section and later "The Void", the liminal feeling vanishes. By definition, a liminal space is a man-made transitional area where people are supposed to be, but aren't. Walking through an endless desert or floating among asteroids in a cosmos (where humans have never been) feels more like a game like No Man's Sky than actual Backrooms horror.

Why the second half gets boring
From horror to transportation: The tight, nerve-wracking corridors are replaced by massive, open areas. The mystery disappears when you can see for miles. Holding down the Shift key: The game lacks the mechanics or puzzles to fill these massive levels. I ended up constantly holding down the shift key just to sprint through and get it over with. It becomes a tedious walking simulator rather than a horror game.

If you only want to play the first few levels for the pure Poolrooms aesthetic, it might be worth it. But as a complete experience, it loses its identity, drops its own genre on the floor, and ultimately misses the mark by a mile.
* I don't recommend playing yet ( but it 's up to everyone ) , since the developer refines his brainchild from time to time , and therefore the player risks missing something interesting . Nevertheless , THE GAME IS FUN . There is a someone's it feels presence in it , which is simply not enough in some similar projects . But there are disadvantages to the game . Game settings : resolution , graphics , sound and engine (Unreal Engine 5) . The sound of water is very loud , which makes it hard to hear voices and whispers ( although I understand the REALISM ) . Still , I wouldn't mind adjusting the volume of the water. Unreal Engine 5 just has nightmarish shadows . They're kind of goofy , not real . 20 years ago, shadows were like shadows in games , and this is just squalor . :-) Jumped on a duckling once and flew higher than the ceiling . I would like to know when the game will be finalized in order to plunge into LIMINAL WATERS .
Only has three graphics options: ultra high end, normal and potato mode, with no further tweaking possible. Normal ran terribly for me and potato mode looks just too ugly. So if you're like me and have an old pc you might want to wait for and upgrade for this one
Okay, first, yes it's absolutely beautiful to look at, and the first couple hours give or take was really engaging.. not in the way that there's anything to do, but engaging like it was still interesting and a sense of wonder. By the time you hit the caves and ESPECIALLY the Ancient Egyptian Alien biz it just becomes taxing. It's nothing but a hold W & shift simulator at that point. One thing, after a couple hours of playing and never having to do anything but look around, it hits you with a new mechanic.. you have to go back and grab something and take it somewhere to proceed... at this point there has been nothing of the sort in the game... it's not hard to figure out if you have a gamer brain.. but so random to not introduce that way earlier in the game.... AND there were these awful endless sections of just walking in a straight line for no reason. Like NEEDLESSLY LONG... Nothing to look at that you haven't already seen for the last 20 mins of holding W & shift.. your fingers start to hurt. Anyway, not trying to complain a lot, it's was still for the most part enjoyable, I just think it overstayed it welcome and STRETCHED out certain section WAY TOO LONG.
