Amazing game but no achievements ported over to steam

I hate to admit this but I don't love this game. I am only playing it because I purchased all 3 Lego Batman games together and I really wanted to play the other 2. I am forcing myself to play because it's the first and I'm a bit of a completionist. Best part of the game is the stupid humor. Since they didn't use voice actors, things play out in a very slapstick way. Worst part of the game is the camera jerking whenever I am trying to build anything. Just keep the camera still when I am picking up Lego pieces. It's a bit nauseating.

Crashes for no reason more than once

After playing through LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, I found LEGO Batman 1 to be a really boring LEGO game. Unlike LEGO Star Wars, it didn't have the same fun stuff that kept me playing. The levels felt repetitive and copy-pasted, with very little variety. The combat was slow, the characters felt lifeless, and even the villains didn't feel very interesting. Playing through the villains' missions was especially disappointing because it felt like replaying the same levels again from another side, with the same rooms, objects, and enemies. By the end, I was left with no desire to ever play this game again.
