About
Legacy of the Ark: The Long Awakening is a sci-fi idle progression game about rebuilding a shattered colony ship after it crashes on an unknown alien world.
The Ark was built to carry humanity across the stars, but something went wrong. Now the ship lies broken beneath a dark alien jungle, its systems offline, its crew scattered, and its memory fractured. What begins as a desperate struggle to restore power slowly becomes something much deeper as the Ark begins to reveal signs of a mystery buried inside its damaged systems.
You begin with only basic crew labor. Every click represents the survivors pushing the wreckage back toward life one repair at a time. Generate Energy, salvage broken components, rebuild equipment, unlock storage systems, and restore the damaged technology needed to keep the Ark alive.
As your progress grows, manual effort gives way to automation. Restored systems, drones, fabrication tools, and optimization upgrades begin to take over the work, allowing your recovery operation to keep expanding even while you are away.
But the Ark is not simply broken.
Something inside it remembers.
Progress deeper into layered idle systems, unlock new menus, restore lost functions, and discover strange anomalies tied to time, memory, and the long awakening of the Ark itself.
Idle and clicker progression built around gathering Energy, repairing systems, and expanding production.
Resource management through salvage, equipment, storage, and long-term upgrade planning.
Automation systems that gradually reduce manual effort and increase passive growth.
Prestige-style progression that lets you reset parts of your recovery in exchange for stronger permanent upgrades.
A sci-fi story layer that unfolds as the Ark’s damaged systems come back online.
Crew-based expansion as survivors become part of the larger recovery effort.
Exploration and mystery tied to the alien world surrounding the crash site.
Long-term incremental growth designed for players who enjoy steady upgrades, layered systems, and watching numbers climb.
Repair damaged systems. Restore lost technology. Expand production. Recover what was buried in the wreckage.
Each upgrade brings the Ark closer to waking, but every restored system raises new questions. Why did the Ark fall? What survived inside its memory? And what is waiting beyond the first layer of recovery?
The Ark has fallen.
The crew is waiting.
The long awakening has begun.

Its fun with friends!
Classic Idle Clicker with quite a bit of progress to work through. obviously has some AI Generated aspects, but still a good Idle game. Best part is it doesnt have constant Ads to boost production. You choice if you want to spend real money for boosts or currency, it's not a competitive game so it doesn't ad any P2W. It's got cross-progression so you can continue on your phone, tablet, or elsewhere which is awesome. I wouldn't say it competes with something like Tap Titans (yet?), but if you want just a decent Idle game it serves the need
Should have improved the UI. Just a normal TAP TAP game. gets boring after sometime.

Legacy of the Ark: The Long Awakening is an ambitious blend of idle progression, resource management, and science fiction storytelling that aims to deliver more than the usual incremental experience. Developed and published by Broken Ark Studios, the game places players aboard a colossal colony vessel that has suffered a catastrophic crash on an unfamiliar alien world. Humanity's dream of reaching a new home has been shattered, leaving only a handful of survivors and the remains of an advanced civilization hidden beneath layers of twisted metal and dense vegetation. Rather than throwing players into immediate danger, the game builds its appeal through a gradual process of reconstruction, encouraging them to restore the Ark while uncovering the truth behind its mysterious downfall. This narrative foundation gives purpose to every task, making progression feel like an important step toward reviving what was once humanity's greatest achievement. The gameplay revolves around transforming a struggling colony into a highly efficient automated operation. Players begin by gathering resources manually, repairing damaged systems, and restoring the ship's essential infrastructure. As more technologies become available, repetitive actions are gradually replaced by automated production lines, drones, and upgraded facilities capable of handling increasingly complex operations. This evolution from basic resource collection to sophisticated automation is one of the game's strongest concepts, rewarding patience with constantly expanding possibilities. The incremental mechanics are designed to provide a satisfying sense of growth, allowing players to optimize production, balance multiple resources, and steadily increase efficiency without abandoning the relaxing pace that idle games are known for. One of the game's most appealing features is how it combines progression with exploration and storytelling. Instead of simply unlocking larger numbers and stronger upgrades, players also recover lost memories, restore fragmented databases, and investigate the secrets buried throughout the Ark. Every repaired section contributes another piece to the larger mystery surrounding the failed expedition, while strange anomalies and hidden systems hint that the disaster was caused by far more than mechanical failure. This approach gives the game a stronger narrative identity than many titles within the incremental genre, encouraging players to continue advancing not only for better production but also to discover what truly happened during humanity's final voyage across the stars. Resource management extends beyond basic gathering, requiring players to salvage valuable materials, rebuild damaged equipment, expand operational capacity, and carefully prioritize technological improvements. The inclusion of prestige mechanics adds another layer of long-term progression by allowing players to reset portions of their development in exchange for permanent bonuses that improve future playthroughs. This familiar but effective system encourages experimentation with different upgrade paths while ensuring that every cycle contributes meaningful progress. Crew management and expanding automation networks also introduce additional strategic decisions, giving players multiple interconnected systems to improve instead of relying solely on passive resource accumulation. Visually, Legacy of the Ark: The Long Awakening embraces a clean science fiction presentation that emphasizes readability while supporting its atmospheric setting. The damaged Ark, overgrown environments, and gradually restored machinery effectively communicate the theme of rebuilding civilization from the ruins of a failed mission. Although the graphics prioritize function over spectacle, they complement the game's management-focused design and reinforce the feeling of steadily reclaiming abandoned technology. Broken Ark Studios has also been transparent about using AI-assisted tools during portions of concept development and content creation while maintaining that all final assets and implementations were reviewed by the development team, offering welcome openness regarding the production process. Legacy of the Ark: The Long Awakening shows considerable promise by combining idle gameplay with meaningful narrative progression, layered management systems, and an intriguing science fiction setting. Instead of relying solely on endless numerical growth, it attempts to make every upgrade, repair, and automation project feel connected to a larger story about survival, discovery, and rebuilding humanity's future. The ultimate success of the game will depend on how well its pacing maintains player engagement and whether its mystery remains compelling throughout the lengthy progression, but its design philosophy already stands apart from many conventional incremental titles. For players who enjoy relaxing optimization, automation, and story-driven management experiences, this is a project worth keeping an eye on. Rating: 6/10
Обычный кликер.
Free so yes, the pay to win doesnt seem terrible but I dont really know. Seems to have a number of different systems that seem to take a few hours to unlock? Not much to do at the start but I see how there is more later. Dont know if I will keep playing, its a pretty boring first half hour. This could have thousands of hours of gameplay or like 10? I cant even tell 5/10 /shrug

The game looked promising at first, but it could have been much better with more effort put into its design. I've played better idle games, so this one feels a bit boring in comparison.
