A fun game where you play as a secret agent equipped with a multi-gadget umbrella. (Remember Kingsman?) Third-person shooter with platform elements. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3640573234 The plot is simple and is told through a short initial "freeze frame" introduction. Throughout the game, the protagonist herself, with her own voice, will carry the story forward. Your trusty umbrella will be equipped with various gadgets, such as a shield, grappling hook, and shotgun. All can be upgraded via dedicated stations and after finding the necessary parts along the way. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3640572938 The graphic style is a bit retro in my opinion but very enjoyable. I personally really like the protagonist's voice. The other voices are also well done, even if the lines are a bit repetitive. I would like to point out some small bugs in loading and during gameplay, and the enemy AI is not exactly brilliant. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3640265937 I'll conclude by saying that this is an immature product, yet fully enjoyable. The plot and gameplay aren't innovative. There's certainly plenty of room for improvement. Let's remember that this is still a free game.

I really wanna like this game. It's free and seems like a good proof of concept that while simple has decent bones that could be nourished for a more full body experience. Pros: Okay story or inciting Incident. I like the music. Really solid level and puzzle design. Pacing is pretty good too. Voice Acting is okayish but isn't ear gratingly terrible. Also since this isn't Shakespear, it isn't that distracting. Cons: Performance on my mid laptop is just rough in a way that doesn't make sense for the fidelity that this game is pumping out. Not beating the poor Unreal optimization allegations. Settings options don't help improve performance either. You don't seem to have many options for melee or additional combat interactions with enemies. This thing is buggier than a Bethesda Game at early release inside a roach colony I can't beat the game due to a bug that blocks me from improving my umbrella weapon Also had certain moves and tactics not work for no reason. Voice clips randomly trigger and don't trigger. Triggered the unlocked everything achievement just for starting the game it seems. Which makes me feel like a liar. I wanted to like this game and I have a bit of a soft spot for it but this isn't worth the download yet. Still needs a bit more refinement. At least I hope.
I really wanted to play this, but I lasted barely a few minutes in. Story seems interesting but when I started playing, weird things happened: 1 - After the Intro Cutscenes, I instantly got the "Lady Umbrella" achievement. 2 - Right after 1, I pressed the Menu button on the controller to go check the Settings and everything disappeared. The main character started falling down in an endless fall, whole map was gone. These things might happen in games (understandably) so I simply went back to the Menu to try one more time and then pressed "New Game". The game kept restarting in a loop, showing me the Intro Logos. It's a shame really, even though it definitely needs a bit more work, it seems like a nice game (from trailer and graphics, since I didn't really have a chance to play it). So, for now, I don't recommend it. If these kind of bugs/glitches will be fixed, I'll gladly come back to try and play it again. SMALL REVIEW UPDATE: I gave this game one more chance. I did manage to get through it and to get some achievements. ANYHOW in Chapter 4 and 5, when I tried to upgrade weapons, I would get a blank menu and couldn't choose any upgrade because none appeared. Also, I never really finished Chapter 5: after the "final" (I guess?) cutscenes the screen becomes black. That's it, no credits nor anything... Please, fix and polish this game because I believe it really is a good little game. The story was ok.
О_о https://youtu.be/llK4_2OX_80
My gambling addict friend said if I post a review and it gets 150 likes and 50 Awards that he will buy me a case of beer, some vodka and 1 kg of lemon So im just gonna leave this here.
Does not start, keeps looping a few screens but does not completely load.
I’ve known about this game since it launched, but I just wasn’t in the right mood to play it until now. Since I currently have very little free time and starting a massive title makes no sense, I decided to go through some short Indie games. I was craving a shooter, and Lady Umbrella offered exactly that, so I jumped right in. Honestly, it’s a great game. It reminded me of the Mafia series, Gears of War, Overwatch, and even Tomb Raider, as someone else already mentioned here. The visuals are pretty nice, successfully blending realism with its own unique art style. However, the game suffers from major game breaking bugs. Once you reach the second part of the game and collect all the upgrades, you completely lose the ability to customize your umbrella. If you think you can fix this by reloading a checkpoint or even restarting the game, I have bad news for you. The game reloads you back to the very first moment you enter the gallery, but with already loaded assets that block your path and prevent you from moving forward. Even if you try to replay the whole game from scratch, the exact same issue happens as soon as you reach the gallery. It’s really a shame. I was genuinely excited and hooked to see how the story, even if not entirely revolutionary, would end but unfortunately, I will never find out.
