A sweet bite-sized potion brewing game. With the soft artstyle, vibrant colours and attention to detail the visuals are very sweet. One such detail is Krax showing different expressions depending on how well you did on a potion, which might even be missed by some if they don’t switch back to his screen immediately after submitting a potion. The titular concoctions all have fun designs though there isn’t any clear cut lore about what each one does with only a few hinting at possible effects with their appearance. The gameplay is very simple. You merely have to add the ingredients to the cauldron via clicking and dragging them over it and stir the potion according to the recipe. The more accurate to the recipe and faster you complete each potion the more points you can accrue or the shorter your time score will be depending on which mode you play. There are two different gameplay modes, Standard which gives a points score and Speedrun which gives a time core, as well as two additional modifiers that can be selected in the settings menu. Randomized pages with which the recipes’ order in the book is changed and Blackout with which you can only see a small part of the screen where your cursor is hovering. Though I would say only the Blackout mode adds any significant challenge. To sum it up this is a decent potion brewing game. It might not have very complex mechanics or pose much of a challenge, but it is free and enjoyable to play for a bit when you need to pass some time.

Art is lovely, there are birbs, and it is free. Hard to ask for more. Some small technical issues (ex. objects sometimes don't drop if you click fast enough and not hold) but they can be ironed out w/ patches and it doesn't detract from the game as a whole. But yeah, is good. Was fun being Krax's free la- 'intern.'
Simple game with a cute artstyle. Maybe i wouldn't recommend it for someone purely going for achievements due to the grind required for the 250 potion one and the gameplay loop getting boring eventually, but generally it's neat.
If you hate time based games this is probably gonna annoy the heck out of you. I am one of those people. The time slowly running down and the pot boiling over whenever it wants depleting more of your time whilst trying to remember the ingredients is just too much stuff all at once. I thought this was gonna be a cosy game (that's on me i should have watched the trailer more) If you like a time challenge you'll probably like this. If you like a cute art style you'll probably like this. If you like mixing potions you'll probably like this. This just wasn't it for me i HATE time based games.
Quite easy to go through but still fun and enjoyable with the different game mode options and achievements!
Perfection.
a fun game with cute art, and an adorable crow wizard :D it's good fun for an hour or so, maybe two, however the gameplay loop is quite repetitive. this wouldnt make me not want to recommend it, but i find that it doesnt have much replayability because its just the same process of making the potions every time. it could be better if: 1. potion in the cauldron will change color and appearance based on ingredients added like maybe adding a bug makes it brown, and adding a unicorn horn makes it sparkly. colors can also be mixed when different ingredients are added. 2. maybe add a "potion shop" mode where you can help krax ca-caw manage his potion shop with customers that request different potions and you have to make them and sell it to customers. the customers could also include some new, whimsical characters as well.
