About
This game is a free CONCEPT demo created to showcase early ideas for Knight’s Path and does NOT represent the final game!!!
The Tournament is a short (2-3 hour long) medieval action RPG featuring challenging combat, an immersive progression system, and a nice little story. It serves both as an announcement and a teaser for the forthcoming open-world RPG Knight's Path, which is currently in active development.
You begin your journey with nothing. Once you acquire a weapon and learn how to fight, you can enter the tournament, where you test your might and earn rewards. These rewards can be used to purchase new armors and weapons, enhancing your capabilities for future battles. The tournament consists of four rounds and pits you against eleven unique NPCs, each with their own distinct fighting style, including the reigning, undefeated champion of the arena.
Are you ready to face this challenge?
Or, if you need a moment to relax, you can partake in various activities, like chilling by the fireplace or forming a heartwarming bond with a local cat.

Combat is feels real fluid when you get into the flow of it, and I assume when the full game comes out there will be way more armor types and weapon verities as shown as some of the opponents wield. Now there's definitely a bit of jank to the animations and what windows allow what to connect. Some attacks from the opponents and myself feel like should move a bit slower, and I think heavy swings and thrusts should be more distinguishable from one another. Could I just be bad? totally. The text to speech voice acting is too distracting, I find it too funny to actually pay attention when they try to tach you the game, its definitely easier to mute the game when in the training segments. I'll revise this review after I put more hours into it and actually beat it, I'm really intrigued in this project.
The game was pretty good the block system is hard to get use to but once you do the game is pretty fun :)

it's a really good game, a work in progress but a cool combat system takes a minute to get used to \, however its still fun and i cant wait for the full version
pretty fun beat it in a hour but one big issues is from round three and on the first fight caused me extreme frame drops which only got worse as it went on other than that pretty good love the mechanics the boss was little hard to read but thats really all i gotta say it needs some work but otherwise its pretty good
i beat this game in 3 hours till the end its ez but the last one i had network issues and the ping on low end pc was crazy so i lost some matches but very ez game
PROS 1- Free 2-Good combat foundation CONS 1-Ai voice is disgustingly horrible 2-Writing is childish. Too much emphasis on honorable knight fantasy. It tastes like a bad hollywood movie 3-Combat inputs are not responsive and intuitive enough WISHES 1- I hope the full game leaves childish honorable knight fantasy behind or, at least, gives us options to chose different paths 2- I hope combat input responsiveness increases 3- I hope they find enough funding to hire pro voice actors 4- I hope they tone down the silly monologs/dialogs
wow just perfect if you like fighting games in the past
Very immersive gameplay! I love what they have made here and cant wait to see what they'll do with the full release!
.
Mejor hubieran dejado el dialogo con subtitulos en vez de ponerle esas voces de IA horribles sin la opcion de quitarla, el sistema de combate se me hizo una decepción.
