False advertisement The game play is nothing like how it’s being advertised as.

Good game so far I recommend playing if you like being a leader or using strategies to attack enemies

A fun but time consuming game Kingshot, I’ve learned, is a reskin of Whiteout Survival. A game I’ve never played - but I’ve heard game play is identical. Like that game, it’s a massively multiplayer online game with people joining from all around the world. Fortunately, there’s built in text translation. I just wish you could toggle it “always on”! Like almost every tablet and smartphone based game, the ads are horribly misleading. This is NOT primarily a tower defense game - and you never get to play exactly as depicted in the ads. Kingshot is a city building game with research and resources gathering, plus some team battle events. You CAN play independently, but you’ll get kicked around lots, and be quickly left behind in growth since you get significant bonuses for joining in and being active with an alliance. You CAN play for free if you can ignore the ceaseless offers for helpful perks. Most of us are “low pay” players who spend just a little bit a month. There are massively powerful WHALES, who have spent many, many thousands of dollars to become powerful. You can’t hope to beat them. Only to match them, if you’re willing to spend just as much. Most of us just stay out of their way and find comparable level opponents during the scheduled battles.

Just another clone The gameplay is nothing like the ads. It's just another game where you gather resources and have to build a town and each type of building takes longer and longer to complete and requires other buildings to be at certain levels to be able to upgrade them- it becomes a house of cards where to upgrade 1 thing you end up having to do like 6 different other tasks to be able to unlock the ability to upgrade it. There are some battles but they are quick and more like those games where you select an available box and place a troop that you earned and can upgrade them, too before the battle. The gameplay is nothing like shown in the ads. This game ends up just running around upgrading buildings. I'm sure they will eventually take days and weeks to upgrade and you have to wait it to do what you want. Or you can use earned in game currency or buy game currency to make it go faster. The game is also overly complicated. Maybe of I had the time and it had more unique game play (and if it was more fun) I would bother.

Would be better if the ads and the game actually measured up to be the same thing. But its not, not according to the first twenty minutes anyway. No different than any other dumb game where you build an unlimited amount of Buildings locked behind timers that get increasingly longer for what appears to be no reason. Not sure what the guy in the ads is playing, but this aint it. Hard pass.

Fake Ads game nothing like the ads!

Absolutely BS They want you to pay for anything and everything. If you are ready to pay to play please enjoy if not steer clear!!!!

AI generated. AI generated ads, most likely ai generated game and portraits. Oh yeah and it’s just an entirely copy paste format to try to milk as much money out of you as possible. Conquest mode, war map mode, town building mode. Already slightly overwhelming ontop of it stuffing payment options down your throat and making it as flashy as possible. “2114% VALUE!! For only $5.99!!”

Lie(s) When I first downloaded it, I enjoyed it. I got a bit far into the game. I was excited to play it after playing the ad. I deleted it after some time. Now, that I downloaded it again to check if the ad and game are the same, it isn't. I couldn't find anything like that ad in the actual game. The closest thing is the levels to conquer with heros, but that ain't the same thing. Overall, I prefer what the ad offers, not the actual game.
