This game is KIUT, and bloody at the same time CONTROLS : - Controls are easy to use (Arrow keys) - Character [King Rabbit] moves smoothly CLUES/PUZZLES : - Puzzles are refreshing and mesmerizing - I'll give 6/10 for difficulties (Tutorial levels) GRAPHICS : - The art style is simple and nice - KIUT MY EXTRA THOUGHT ( ゚▽゚)/ - THE MUSIC, IS IT HALLOWEEN? If you are looking for a full gameplay walkthrough, check this video out! ∠( ᐛ 」∠)_ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6sbpsD3Ezs
It isn't bad. It just isn't amazing either. The reason I'm giving it a thumbs down compared to a thumbs up is the free-to-play monetization method they implemented. That isn't too problematic overall, it just rubs me the wrong way for this type of game. Wish they just went with a straight forward cost of like $2.99 or something for the game and had that be it. It is coming from a mobile port and it feels like they didn't consider the PC market when porting it. If you're looking for a quick free-to-play puzzle game, it isn't bad, but it doesn't really do much in terms of innovation or much to keep you interested in my eyes.

There aren't a lot of games that I keep playing. So if there is a game that I continue playing, it really means something. King Rabbit is a free to play puzzle sandbox game with cute rabbits and their bloody deaths. Even if it's bloody, its meant for all ages. And it really isn't that "horrible". It's actually quite funny. (and sometimes frustrating) The point of the game is to complete puzzles, collect gold, find gems and to buy rabbit skins. Each rabbit skin has only a limit 100. After the 100 is reached, you can't obtain it anymore. However with the recently added marketplace, you can buy and sell these limited edition skins. Also a big part of this game is, that you can create your own levels and puzzles or play the levels the community has created. The fun is endless. (until you get bored) The game is free, so why not give it a try? And if you love the game, support the two-man dev team and buy a rabbit skin (with gems) The game is also on mobile (Apple & Google), which you can link if you create an account. So no progress is lost and you can play the game on the run!
Cute and relaxing puzzle-platformer, my 7-year-old is having a blast! In game purchases aren't needed so far but i wish we could pay once on the store page to unlock some stuff and support the dev.
This is the game I was really obsessed playing on mobile years ago and I'm proud of what it's becoming. For the sake of review, here's what I think about the game. Gameplay/Playability: +It's pretty straightforward. You know what you need to do. Play as a rabbit and go to the portal which is every level's goal. You may sometimes encounter obstacles in your way just like in every game. You do your tricks and boom! You solved it. +Original levels are a good tutorial for learning many features within the level. +While community levels are a whole different world where you get to play other players' levels. These ones can be very diverse from so simple to extremely hard, from action to puzzle in which you will absolutely have fun figuring out. Community levels are what keeps the game alive because of their playability. +You can build and share your levels with others and it's totally free of your imagination. -Original levels lack playability. But I'm informed that there's more to come. -Themes could be more diverse in use (e.g. lava and water difference) and there could be more themes to play. Controls: +It's very simple to control on keyboard. You may improve your movements as you play further and complete more levels. Oh and you can use mouse in extreme conditions, too. Graphics: +It is as fine as needed. Puzzle platformers are supposed to be fun, not beautiful to distract over players. +I can't deny the fact that how rabbit gets to be cute at times, especially when sleeping, and how ground gets to be decorated with simple but different type of critters and stuff to add more randomness to the simplicity. -Animations could be more lively and more details could be added to improve simplicity. SFX/Music: +Sounds have a great impact on the game. They are mostly present in essential parts of the game so you wouldn't feel the lack of it. +Music is great in general and it really fits the royal vibe of the game. -There could be more soundtracks as it becomes repetitive. Game Economy/Trading: +Coins, diamonds and karats are currencies of the game. Coins can be collected from every level while all can be obtained from randomly appearing eggs or in other occasions. They don't impact your gameplay at all. +Players can donate you their coins or diamonds in selected amounts after playing a level of yours. You can do the vice versa. +Rabbit skins available to buy for mostly diamonds (few for coins) which will change your character's look. Their stock is limited which makes them special to get and show off. +Significant game objects for building your level are all free to use. Some game objects are available to buy for coins and diamonds to use but they are mostly for aesthetic so you don't lose much without them. +Karat is used for getting the solution when you're stuck on a level. -You can't trade any skin, yet. Online Features/Friends: +You can play as a guest so you don't need to create an account to play. +Community levels can get likes and dislikes depending on the rating of players. Stats are available under each level of yours to check how well your level is taken by other players. +You can choose a criteria for what kind of level you want to play such as hard, new or best levels. +You can watch replays of other players on your levels or random levels. +You can follow your favorite players, see their levels, followers and who they are following. -You can no longer see top weekly wins by players from the community on a leaderboard. It was used to get rewards like rabbit skins in top 3. It would be nice to have it back for just showcasing. -No achievements, yet. Story: -There is none. Not necessary in a puzzle game but it could definitely add more playability if existed (e.g. as a new gameplay mode). Bugs&Glitches/Technical Support: +Game hardly has any issues and they are usually minor when present. +Game frequently gets updates to resolve issues. +Developer has a Discord channel for hearing your suggestions, questions, problems out!
The game mostly seems to e a shell to sell really expensive cosmetics and that seems to be the primary incentive for the entire thing. The puzzle mechanics are not bad, but they are kinda simplistic. The predatory costs and similar is a big turn off though.
