Kamu's Offering is a challenging sidescroller platformer with the uniqueness of controlling two entities, the priest that can jump, move, throw and catch, and Kamu's essence that's thrown by the priest and bounces throght the scenery. You have to combine the two to platform your way through Africa!

I don't know what happened exactly, but when I tried to load this game it was super slow and kind of glitched from one frame to the next. Even the title screen didn't work. I had everything required to play this game on my computer, so it wasn't that. I didn't see anyone reporting this in the other reviews either, but I am playing on a PC instead of a mac. No idea if that had anything to do with it. So until I figure out what's going on, I would advise anyone reading this to avoid getting this game. If I find out what happened, I will alert anyone reading this immediently. Until then, I suggest you think about this before downloading Kamu's Offering.

A totally recomended game. The idea, gameplay mechanics and visual style of the game are pretty interesting while feeling solid and cohesive. You will see that there are some parts of the gameplay mechanics and level design that could be polished, but they don't break the gameplay experience. A demanding and fresh platformer which provides a fun experience if you are looking for a challenge with a different approach to jumps and environment interactions.
Juegazo! Recomendable 100%, perfecto para pasar un buen rato.
Kamu's Offering is a 2D retro platformer with an African theme. Gameplay consists of routine wall jumping and other platforming, and there's also a ball throw/retrieve gimmick. While the quality here is higher than that of most platformers on Steam, featuring 3D rendered graphics, the developers made some questionable design decisions. They deliberately locked out keyboard controls, forcing gamers to use a console peasant childrens toy game controller. This is unacceptable on the PC platform. Also, the ball throwing mechanism is twitchy and lacks polish, yet is necessary for the game... so this makes large parts of the game frustrating and un-fun. While the game is free, those killer issues prevent me from recommending this. However, by making their game free, the developers have shown great service to themselves and the gaming industry. I hope to see them go on and develop PC centric video games in future.
Really cool art and awesome mehcanics. Its so smooth to play and so funny. I recommend it for the lovers of plataform games and puzzles.
I'd recommend this game, it is a nice platforming game with a unique feature. Your goal is to restore Kamu's heart by progressing through levels in different regions. it has a good atmosphere delivered with a nice music. The controls are simple and the movement of your character are based on the combination of moving, jumping, catching and throwing which are predictable. Then you'll discover Kamu's Essence that you can use, a sphere to help you in your journey that will allow you to approach more complexified obstacles. The difficulty and challenges are increasing as you learn to master this new mechanic. The level design is also good. And it's free. Overall, it's a nice game, if you like this genre or if you are looking for a challenging but fair platformer this game is a solid choice.
