jawsome game!
play this game because it has dinosaurs... rawr
It's a good thing you can't buy this game on Steam any longer. I'd say this has not aged well, but I think this would have been classified as jank right after it got released. The writing must have been done by a 12 year old. There's hardly any depth and the quips and jokes are pretty lame all throughout. Animation is stiff and limbs and weapons are stuck in weird poses sometimes. The quick-time events are borderline impossible to do correctly the first time, because of how fast you have to follow them and when there are scenes where the camera changes in quick-time events the game stutters making it even harder to push the right buttons. The worst thing is that the game sometimes just kind of soft crashes back to the menu half way or almost at the end of an episode, making you repeat the whole thing, because you can't save manually ... and you can't skip dialog. Please do yourself a favor and just skip this game. It made me angry more time than I could count and I didn't enjoy playing it much. It deserves the negative reviews. It's a mess.

A long lost Telltale classic that I wish would get a re-release. The story acts as a kind of epilog of the people that didn't manage to get off the island during the power failure and following dino terror. It slots in pretty well from the first movie and aside from maybe 2 characters I pretty much enjoyed the entire cast that was shown here. Gameplay wise this is a QTE focused game that will require many quick prompts to avoid failure. This is when Telltale had a lot of fun thinking up well over 100 (I think) ways for your characters to die in horrifying ways and many are pretty funny to see. The puzzles are mostly doable with a little effort but a couple had me confused until I figured out what exactly it was asking of me to finish it. This game suffers from the choices only kinda matter. The story seems to play out the same regardless on if you were a nice guy or a ♥♥♥♥ in most circumstances. I could go on but really I just want there to be some kind of signal, even if it's just a review, that I want people to be able to buy this game again. The used market for the Xbox disk is absurd and the key resellers what $100 plus for a key. I liked the game and would say it is worth $15 if it were released today.
One of the best games ever made by TTG
The only reason I am not giving this game a negative review is because it is Jurassic Park. The best it can achieve is 'Mixed', but that is not an option. There is very little positive to say about the game, other than it is kind of cool to own a bit of Jurassic Park game history on Steam, the original soundtrack that is taken from the movie, and other seeing than some things from the movie from a different perspective. The story, characters and gameplay are very poor overall. This game cannot stand on its own, it is only held up by the IP and barely at that.
IT'S SOOOO PEAK!!!!!
Dino :)
I recently went through a playthrough of the game and I think a lot of people take for granted the story that's being told, especially in consideration of what the new Jurassic world films are like. If you can get a hold of this game, I'd 100% recommend to give it a try and to have some fun with it. The story is a really nice expansion of the Jurassic Park 1 (Which the Game has become weirdly "Soft-canon" now) and I think that most people will come to enjoy it, especially if you're a fan of the Jurassic park films. I do feel that you have to already have seen the film and at least enjoyed it to be playing the game. There is only one big problem with the game, it has 100% Aged. Most games from the 2000s and very early 2010s can age pretty nicely but this one has really aged poorly with its animations, but if you can get besides that, then its a solid game and a really nice expansion of the JP world before Jurassic World came out in 2015.
