Привет-привет, наткнулся на работы разработчика Evgeny Petrov из Not a Prototype games.

It's actually quite entertaining and challenging for a simplistic arcade styled puzzle game not what I first expected that's for sure. It slowly becomes more addicting and challenging over time so don't expect an actual challenge till you get around the 7th level. All in all I can definitely say that it was worth the 50 cents to a dollar I spent on it .
A solid minimalist platformer with interesting gameplay mechanics and nice soundtrack. Relatively short, but provides a decent challenge. Hardcore mode can really test your skills and adds some more gameplay time.
Iterform is the kind of indie game that immediately separates itself from mainstream puzzle-platformers through atmosphere, abstraction, and an almost uncompromising commitment to minimalist game design. Developed by Evgeny Petrov and published by Not a Prototype games, the title presents itself less as a traditional adventure and more as an experimental interactive experience built around movement, environmental interaction, and spatial problem-solving. Rather than guiding players through a heavily scripted story or filling the world with combat encounters and cinematic spectacle, Iterform strips its design down to its purest elements and challenges players to interpret the world through observation, experimentation, and logic. The result is a game that feels mysterious, immersive, and intellectually engaging, even if its unconventional structure and minimalistic approach may alienate players expecting a more accessible or narrative-driven experience. From its opening moments, Iterform establishes an atmosphere of isolation and uncertainty. The player is placed inside a strange abstract world with almost no explanation regarding its purpose, history, or rules. There are no lengthy tutorials, dramatic exposition scenes, or direct narrative introductions to ease players into the experience. Instead, the game expects players to learn organically by interacting with the environment itself. This lack of guidance is one of the defining aspects of Iterform’s identity. It treats discovery as part of the gameplay, forcing players to slowly understand the world through movement, experimentation, and environmental clues rather than direct instruction. For some players, this design philosophy will feel refreshing and immersive, while for others it may initially feel confusing or frustrating. However, the game’s refusal to overexplain itself ultimately becomes one of its greatest strengths because it creates a genuine sense of mystery rarely found in modern puzzle-platformers. Visually, Iterform adopts a highly stylized minimalist presentation that perfectly complements its abstract gameplay structure. The environments are composed of geometric architecture, surreal structures, glowing pathways, shifting platforms, and futuristic surfaces that create the impression of navigating an unstable simulation or alien digital realm. The game avoids excessive visual detail and instead relies on shape, lighting, color contrast, and environmental composition to establish atmosphere. This approach gives the world a clean and hypnotic appearance that constantly feels strange and slightly unsettling. Certain areas appear almost dreamlike, as if reality itself is being reconstructed around the player in real time. The minimalist aesthetic also serves an important gameplay function because it keeps environmental interactions and puzzle mechanics visually readable, ensuring players can focus entirely on navigation and problem-solving without unnecessary distractions cluttering the screen. One of the game’s most impressive qualities is how effectively it uses environmental storytelling despite offering almost no direct narrative exposition. Every environment feels intentionally designed to communicate mood and meaning through architecture, movement, and spatial arrangement rather than dialogue or cutscenes. Strange structures, isolated pathways, inaccessible areas, and mechanical transformations all suggest a larger hidden purpose behind the world even when the game refuses to fully explain it. This subtle approach encourages players to interpret the experience in their own way, making progression feel more personal and immersive than a traditional story-heavy structure might have achieved. The world constantly feels alive in a quiet and unsettling way, as though players are uncovering fragments of something larger that remains just beyond their understanding. Gameplay revolves around platforming mechanics combined with environmental puzzles and movement-based experimentation. Unlike many modern puzzle-platformers that rely on enemies or combat systems to maintain tension, Iterform focuses almost entirely on navigation and understanding how different environmental mechanics interact with one another. The player’s primary challenge comes from understanding the world itself rather than defeating opponents. Every movement input matters because progression depends heavily on timing, observation, and spatial reasoning. This creates a slower and more methodical gameplay rhythm compared to action-heavy platformers, but that deliberate pacing is central to the game’s identity. What makes Iterform particularly compelling is how it introduces new mechanics. Rather than stopping the experience to explain systems through tutorials or text boxes, the game trusts players to experiment and learn naturally. New environmental interactions are often introduced subtly through level design itself. Players might discover that certain surfaces react differently, platforms shift under specific conditions, or movement mechanics evolve depending on how environments are approached. This design philosophy creates an extremely satisfying sense of discovery because solutions feel earned through genuine understanding rather than instruction. Certain puzzles initially appear impossible or confusing, but the eventual realization of how the mechanics function often creates some of the most rewarding moments in the entire game. The platforming mechanics themselves are precise and responsive enough to support the increasingly demanding level design. Movement feels deliberate rather than fast, encouraging careful observation before action. The game constantly asks players to think before moving rather than relying purely on reflexes. This slower pacing creates tension in unusual ways because uncertainty becomes the primary source of challenge. Players are not simply trying to avoid enemies or hazards but attempting to understand the rules governing the world around them. Later sections combine platforming precision with layered puzzle mechanics in ways that require both careful timing and conceptual understanding, creating moments where intellectual problem-solving and mechanical execution merge together seamlessly. The level design is easily one of the strongest aspects of the experience. Early sections function almost like silent lessons, introducing players to the logic of the world through simple environmental interactions. As the game progresses, these ideas become increasingly layered and complex. Mechanics introduced separately earlier in the game begin interacting with one another in unexpected ways, forcing players to rethink their assumptions and approach problems differently. Certain areas feel almost architectural in their design philosophy, using shape and structure themselves as puzzles rather than relying on obvious switches or scripted mechanics. This gradual escalation of complexity keeps the gameplay consistently engaging while also reinforcing the game’s atmosphere of discovery and experimentation. For players who enjoy experimental indie games, atmospheric puzzle-platformers, and experiences that prioritize interpretation and discovery over direct storytelling, Iterform offers a fascinating and rewarding journey. Its slow pacing, abstract design philosophy, and occasionally frustrating puzzle logic may not appeal to everyone, but players willing to immerse themselves in its strange world will likely find an experience that lingers in their mind long after the final puzzle is solved. The game succeeds not through spectacle or accessibility, but through confidence, creativity, and an unwavering dedication to its own artistic vision. Rating: 5/10
