It's a great game with good potential! Loads of adjustments, QoL and bug fixes will probably be necessary still. The game already has a great foundation, especially for a student game.
I can see this game being great, but its unfair and pretty broken. First off, it seems yall forgot to apply a console binding for after you pick up an item, and the keyboard binding just doesnt work. pressing tab makes the game act like your bringing up the menu but nothing comes up and it just freezes you in place. Pressing 1 doesnt do anything at all. The jellyfish are fun to fight, I like having to quickly dash away and in between them to dodge their attacks, but the shark things are impossible to fight. They shoot way too fast to be able to dodge, and their projectiles might as well be invisible. Another thing is that there is no pause menu? I have no way to turn down the music or even exit the game without using steam or force quitting. I like the aesthetic of the game, I like the mechanics of collecting bolts during each run and upgrading after you die, I like the general direction this game is going (if it will ever be updated that is), but it just needs some major QOL fixes and enemy adjustments. There is also currently no defining feature that separates it from any other average top-down action roguelike. I think leaning more into the whole underwater theme has a lot of potential for new game mechanics, as I personally haven't seen this theme done before within the genre. Just please add a pause menu...

Great game :D especially for a school project, the art is really good, the music is good. For anyone who finds this game and wants to play it, yes the tutorial is easy and you will die the first time 100% but after that its not that bad, it is a pretty big spike in difficulty but I'll call that a skill issue. The dash recharges extremely fast and you can just spam dash and shot (there is even a dash variant which has i-frames). I beat the game on my second try (or first if you count the "tutorial death"). If you find the sharks hard since their bullets are damn fast, just run into them. Literally. They will stop shooting to get a bit of distance and you can run laps around them, works with the jellyfish too. For the final boss, try and find the dash variant and use it a lot + your torpedo's will do quick work of the guy. Cool game :D ill 100% it for the achievements
"Fatal error" when opening a treasure chest and modifying my main weapon.
Fun game :D Could use a couple bug fixes but no major bugs, fun to explore and get OP to be able to kill enemies easier :p Once you get the hang of the input and the enemies their attack patterns you can use your abilities more efficiently to take them down. (love to Lobber too <3)
Nice game. Some smaller bugs still present but nothing game breaking. Is fun for a bit. Good work.
Can't read tutorial fast enough because I'm visual impaired. Tab doesn't bring up any map. Pressing "I" I think is supposed to do something, but it also acts like there's an overlay that doesn't show up. I got stuck in the first section (first section of killing enemies) because I probably missed what the tutorial wanted me to do. Or I couldn't see where I was suppose to go. Even the very first area you start it I just so happen to go to where I was suppose to go. Nothing was clear. So I quit because I couldn't make it past the first encounter section.
