i can't say anymore played since first release see the dev make a mistake and then see their fix and improve it and see their downfall for some patch and see their rise again for now

like every game you invest a lot of time into, infinity nikki has its ups and downs. it's definitely my favourite gacha game and it was my introduction to the nikki games. what i think IN does great: - i love the open world. while it does have the "lots of empty space" that you see in a lot of other gacha games (imo), it's pretty well balanced. i mean, we just got heaven's reach, and that's a huge city. there's so many other pretty areas as well. - it has a great story. we meet so many characters along the way, and their stories actually feel meaningful and nuanced. a lot of people tend to call nikki a mary sue, but let's be real, there's so many other franchises and video games where a male protagonist is a mary sue but there you never see people call them a mary sue. so personally i think calling a character a mary sue is rooted in misogyny. well, whatever. the pieceys have got to be some of my favourite characters in the game, their backstories are so sad and tragic in a way and they also just really fit into this world where fashion is more than just wearing clothes. also, in relation to 2.8, at which point i am writing this review, i just love the little machines in heaven's reach! especially klick, i love them so much <3 - the fashion of it all. i hate gacha games where, rather than pulling on outfits, you pull on a character. i love having nikki as one character who can wear everything she wants to! and especially because the outfits have individual pieces, this makes the dress up so fun. there's so many other nikkis out there, and yet every nikki is unique. what i think IN doesn't do well: - the limits of clothing diversity. while i said above that nikki has a lot of freedom to wear the clothes she wants to, i hate how limited the 5 star banners end up being. it's always ball gowns or dresses and, on the extremely rare occasion, a skirt with a top. if it weren't for the unique accessories, so many outfits would be very bland. i do wish infold would branch out with the diversity of silhouettes on 5 star banners, because let's be real, everything is possible. but i guess it is a chinese game and there's a big bias towards skirts/dresses. - the combat system. the combat system in IN sucks. now that purification is basically useless, all the limited time purification outfits from 1. are redundant. sure, one could just opt to use purification while being in florawish, but imo archery is much better than purification. but even archery is pretty much meh. if it weren't for born flawless or GONR, archery would suck even more. i am glad that they are giving us a lot of different archery bows for free, that's really cool, but at the end of the day the combat system is just -click spam at those esselings until they're gone-. it's not really interesting, and i don't get why infold thinks that improving the combat system automatically means making enemies with a bigger health bar. it just makes the combat even more tedious. the only time the combat system is kinda cool is when you're in the merit arena and have chosen all the perks for stance reduction and dash cooldown as well as archery energy (sorry i forgot what it's called HAHHA) as i stated above, every game has its up and downsides. i am definitely not well enough versed on the nikki series. besides IN i've played like 5 hours of SN and that's it. i think IN is very unique as a gacha game, as nikki is never sexualised even when she wears clothing tagged as "sexy". it also manages to write good female characters that have nuanced backstories, which i always appreciate. i know a lot of other players criticise much bigger concerns, but for me IN is just such a great game and a safe space.

Хочется влепить палец вниз за слишком манипулятивную механику здешнего магазина. Можешь не покупать 10 круток по огромным ценам, но, смотри, тут можно всего за 100 рублей открыть мини-полосочку с парой интересных элементов гардероба. Можно совсем недорого купить 3* нарядик, и даже 4*, если хочешь. Ну и все в таком духе. Просто не лезьте сюда, если знаете, что на вас такие манипуляции работают. Из плюсов: красивые проработанные платья, красивый мир, бесконечное количество возможностей для косплея чего угодно. Зеркало можно проходить на все награды, вообще не трогая баннеры - всегда есть бесплатные альтернативы с квестов/крафта/ивентов. Из минусов: 5* наряды спустя полгода-год игры начинают сильно разочаровывать, потому что начинаешь видеть, насколько они несочетаемые и нерабочие без последних эволюций. Крутить постоянно только 4* тоже не получится, потому что тем не дают полезных способностей. Еще не нравится оптимизация и постоянные подзагрузки в первые дни обновлений.

作为一个玩家，暖暖IP吸引力对我个人而言是无效的，所以此评论单从游戏方面来讲。面料特效确实不错，华丽有真实感，这是优点，但也仅有这一个优点。整体游戏内容完全偏于无聊。优化差，可玩性很低，剧情没深度，合家欢，类似于儿童向的迪士尼游戏。游戏公司信誉也已经臭名远扬，堪比女性向公司里的三国杀，总之不推荐。
