Random Discord friend request telling me to play this game. Colorful but annoyingly pushy city builder that aggressively encourages you to spend money on it.

I was contacted on Discord by a random account pretending they had accidentally added the wrong person because they were supposedly looking for someone from their guild. After a short friendly conversation, the real purpose became obvious: getting me to play Infinity Kingdom. When I pointed out that this looked like a common advertising tactic and mentioned that many people had already reported the same experience, the person immediately blocked me instead of responding. That only made the whole interaction seem even more suspicious. After checking the reviews, I found many others describing the exact same approach. Whether these accounts are officially connected to the game or not, this kind of deceptive recruitment creates a very negative impression. Be careful if a random Discord account contacts you with the "wrong person" story. A good game should earn its players through its quality, not through misleading social tactics.

Garbage game with garbage recruitment phishing practices. Toxic and not worth playing EVER. Find something else that isn't going to program its players to scam you with.

Pathetic, really. A random man pretending to be a 26-year-old woman from Tokyo added me on discord, and after some random, unrequested conversational prompts with incorrect imagery, he invited me to play this game with "her" soon after. After writing the name of the game wrong, he tried to convince me to install this piece-of-crap on my mobile, and then begged me to use the GT Arcade platform instead of steam. I've downloaded the game and stared at the login screen for 0.1 hours just to let you know that all the positve reviews are probably paid. Steam should BAN YOUZU PTE. LTD. and everything related to them.

Don't even think about playing this game, it's very shady and looks like scam. Not recommended by official curators either. The biggest no go they tried to convince me to play this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game via Discord!!! This game should be removed from steam!

Wow I can not believe I got scammed. Not only my feelings but my money was scammed because I wanted to have a gaming friend this is crazy. I mean I should have known when they asked to play this damn game when its not even a multi-player game. 😭😭😭😭😭 Never again will I fall for this trick again.

I normally don't leave reviews for games I've never intended to play, but after reading the recent reviews I realized my experience was almost identical to what many others described. Someone added me from another game and acted friendly, asking about what I was playing and whether I enjoyed it. After chatting for a while, the real reason became clear that they were trying to recruit me to Infinity Kingdom. I was respectful. I looked the game up, explained that it simply wasn't my kind of game, and gave honest reasons why it didn't appeal to me. The conversation immediately ended with "ok bye," and I was blocked on both Discord and the game where they originally contacted me. Maybe that's just one player, maybe it isn't. But when my experience mirrors so many of the other reviews here, it leaves an incredibly poor first impression. A good game shouldn't need people pretending to be your friend just to get you to install it.
