I've played this game for over 4 hours, I love the potential that is on show here. There is a certain satisfaction gained from entering the world, digging for treasure and returning it to my own space to display and collate amongst other items. I'm really excited to see what else is going to come from this game as the dev is very attentive to feedback. I'm excited for the building updates that are coming in and would recommend picking this up if you enjoy simple, satisfying games with low stress and pressure.
A game with an fun and relaxing concept. You dig around for artifacts completely at your own pace and use them to create your own unique environments.
I like how captivating the atmosphere is. The experience is enjoyable. The game concept is fresh, offering exploration and build concept in a new way that I never seen before. You are exploring the world and collecting artifacts that you use for build later. It also has a nice, relaxing vibe. This is definitely very promising indie game and I'm excited to see how this game grows!
A charming and satisfying little game where you dig for treasure using various magical items. You can then display your collection in a museum and build fun creations out of them - you are free to be creative! As of writing this review, the game is in early access and the community is very small for now, so if you join the discord server, you can chat with the developer directly and even have a chance to impact the game's development if you have some great ideas! So overall, it's a fun little game with lots of potential. I definitely recommend giving it a try and coming over to the server for a chat :)
A really underrated game! I had a lot of fun collecting artifacts and building a cozy place for myself. The performance is also great. I was pleasantly surprised that the game uses DLSS and FSR to boost frames. It seems like the developer is actively working on the game and releasing updates, which is great to know!
Infinity Islets is a sandbox exploration game developed and published by Suspicious Penguin that combines artifact collecting, procedural exploration, and creative museum building into a relaxing adventure focused on curiosity and imagination. Rather than emphasizing combat, survival systems, or strict objectives, the game encourages players to travel across floating dimensional islands in search of strange relics and hidden treasures while gradually rebuilding an abandoned museum. Its calm pacing and open-ended design give the experience a unique identity centered around creativity and discovery instead of challenge or competition. The game begins with players entering a mysterious interdimensional museum that has fallen into ruin after a catastrophic event scattered its artifacts across countless floating islands. Guided by the museum’s eccentric overseer, players are tasked with recovering these lost objects and restoring life to the empty exhibition halls. Armed with magical excavation tools and a transport chain capable of carrying discovered relics back to safety, players set out across a world filled with procedurally generated islets suspended high above endless skies. Exploration serves as the core of the entire experience. Every island contains buried artifacts, hidden objects, environmental details, and unexpected discoveries waiting to be uncovered. Some relics appear ordinary at first glance, while others become increasingly bizarre and surreal, ranging from mechanical devices and unusual sculptures to humorous objects that seem pulled from entirely different realities. The unpredictability of what players may discover next creates a satisfying sense of curiosity that constantly pushes exploration forward. One of the game’s strongest features is the museum customization system. Instead of simply collecting objects for numerical progression, Infinity Islets allows players to fully arrange and personalize exhibitions however they choose. Artifacts can be organized into themed collections, decorative displays, or intentionally chaotic exhibits filled with unrelated curiosities. This freedom transforms the museum into a creative space that gradually reflects the player’s personality and imagination over time. The customization mechanics extend beyond placement alone. Players can rename artifacts, rewrite exhibit descriptions, and shape the narrative identity of the museum themselves. This adds a surprising layer of creativity because the game allows players to invent stories and meanings surrounding the strange objects they uncover. Rather than forcing predefined interpretations onto discoveries, Infinity Islets encourages players to treat the museum almost like a personal art project. Another memorable aspect of the experience is the inclusion of interactive artifacts capable of producing music and ambient sounds. These objects allow players to influence the atmosphere of different museum areas directly, creating relaxing audio environments or unusual sound combinations that make exhibitions feel more alive. This mechanic strengthens the game’s creative focus and contributes heavily to its calm and meditative tone. Visually, Infinity Islets adopts a colorful and whimsical presentation style filled with floating islands, soft environmental lighting, and charming object designs. The art direction prioritizes comfort and imagination over realism, creating environments that feel peaceful and inviting throughout the adventure. Each island may be procedurally generated, but the visual variety helps exploration remain interesting while the museum slowly transforms into a vibrant reflection of the player’s growing collection. The soundtrack and ambient audio further reinforce the relaxing atmosphere. Gentle music, environmental soundscapes, and customizable artifact audio all contribute to the game’s tranquil pacing. Unlike many sandbox games that overwhelm players with constant tasks or survival pressure, Infinity Islets creates an experience that feels intentionally calm and unhurried. The game allows players to move entirely at their own pace, making exploration feel soothing rather than stressful. Seasonal events and collectible updates also help add replay value. Limited-time artifacts and themed content encourage players to revisit the game periodically while expanding the variety of possible museum displays. The ability to share museum save files with friends introduces a social aspect as well, allowing players to explore one another’s exhibition designs and creative layouts. However, Infinity Islets may not appeal to players searching for intense gameplay systems or heavily structured progression. The game intentionally avoids combat, survival mechanics, and difficult challenges in favor of slower exploration and creativity. Because of this, some players may eventually find the gameplay loop repetitive if they prefer constant objectives or more traditional progression systems. The procedural generation can also produce uneven results. Certain islands and discoveries feel exciting and memorable, while others may appear less interesting depending on the randomness of the generation systems. Since the experience relies heavily on curiosity and personal creativity, enjoyment often depends on how much players connect with the game’s relaxed sandbox philosophy. The lack of major narrative focus may also disappoint players hoping for a deeper story. While the mysterious museum premise provides enough context to support exploration, the game places far greater emphasis on atmosphere and discovery than on dramatic storytelling or character development. Despite these limitations, Infinity Islets succeeds because of its creativity, peaceful atmosphere, and strong sense of freedom. The combination of exploration, collecting, and museum customization creates a gameplay loop that feels surprisingly comforting and rewarding over long sessions. Instead of trying to overwhelm players with complicated mechanics or constant pressure, the game focuses entirely on providing a calm environment where imagination and curiosity become the main reasons to continue exploring. For players who enjoy relaxing sandbox adventures centered around collecting, creativity, and open-ended exploration, Infinity Islets offers a charming and imaginative experience filled with personality and freedom. Its slower pacing and lack of traditional challenge may not satisfy everyone, but those willing to embrace its peaceful design will likely discover a uniquely relaxing and memorable adventure among its floating dimensional islands. really fun and therapeutic game. perfect for unwinding after a long work day. gameplay feels intuitive, super easy to pick up and play. there's something strangely satisfying about digging your way through planets and wandering freely. I'm already tempted to dig through the whole galaxy and collect eeeverything. disclaimer: easy to get hooked on:D there are a few visual quirks here and there, like the camera clipping through the character while digging. it doesn't ruin the game, but could be improved. nonetheless, this game definitely has potential. I imagine how nice would be able to visit other players' museums;D
Ужасная игра. Производительность ниже плинтуса, настроек графики нет, шрифт нечитаемый, управление непонятное, цель игры не ясна. И за это ещё денег хотят.
