Scuffed Among Us for poor gaymers.
Countdown is a game heavily inspired by Among Us. You start with a maximum of 12 people, most are crewmates but 1 or more play as androids. Crewmates need to do simple tasks in order to prepare for departure and win the game. Androids need to act like they do the tasks and meanwhile kill crewmates. When a body is found it gets reported and a meeting starts. In the meeting you can say where the body is found and if you seen anything. However, you'll never know if its true or if impostor is trying to blame someone else and make them suspicious. Trust nobody! The game is easy, addictive and fun especially with friends on voice. Unlike the original Among Us, this game does have an in-game voice chat, which is a big plus. I've played this game with a few friends from the BatPack and I had the time of my life. Sadly enough, this game doesn't have any players right now so if you do decide to pick it up be aware of this.

OMG! Yes please buy this game! yes I got it for free but that in now way changes the way I feel about Countdown. I played with a big group and we all had a lot of fun. This goes much further than being a clone of another game. Yes it is inspired by some other tiles but it comes together as it's own whole package. The game is in development so the final product is going to be different than what we played but after finding out just some of what the Developer has planned for Countdown I am aslo looking forward to re-exploring this game and seeing what updates come out. How one person can do all this work in as short a time for this much quality is just amazing to me. 8/10 right now but I am sure it will be 10/10 as the newer updates come out. this is a work in progress. Get it for you and your friends!
"Imposters: Countdown" is a dead multiplayer game, an attempt to make a ripoff of Among Us with what look like almost certainly flipped Unreal Marketplace assets. It failed dismally. Some of the mechanisms didn't work perfectly, and lack of polish and poor technical delivery contributed to the DOA outcome. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 12 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. That also comically means the game only ever had a full server once. Textbook failure. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
While it is indeed in early access, the game is constantly updating. With an extremely dedicated team, they do playtest sessions often with whoever's available to playtest at the time, and already I've had mass amounts of fun fretting about in the airlock trying to fix up a terminal while sincerely hoping the rogue AI isn't nearby watching what I'm doing, waiting to shoot me out at a second's notice. There's a wide variety of 'mini-games' or 'tasks', some of which can be seen in the screenshots, that vary in difficulty. These tasks are available in a few different options for difficulty, and with the inclusion of the latest map (Ceres Station), there are now two decent sized maps to play on, each one with completely different layouts. As of the moment, the proximity voice chat is pretty spot on, and definitely adds another level of comedy and fun to the game as a whole. And as of recent updates, there's a nice activity to do while waiting in a lobby! Definitely recommend keeping track of, if not trying out, for the foreseeable future.
Great game! I gave a thorough review of the foundation and game-play of this awesome game here: https://youtu.be/mQSHdVCBt2E
