Really ugly on a PC without VR. No graphic setting to adjust. It didn't even launch on my native resolution ! I have a good graphics card but this simple 3D was pixelated, and only filled up the center of my screen, with what seemed to be a 4:3 ratio. And I couldn't change the resolution because there's no graphic option. At least the computer is decent, and there are some options to review the game after a match, but that's not enough.

it's free, but don’t expect a seamless ride. The timers? They're as wonky as a glitchy game controller, for both VR and desktop players. And finding opponents? Well, you might have better luck finding a needle in a haystack. I once waited for what felt like an eternity – nada. The AI Bot? Stuck at level 7, it’s not exactly the grandmaster showdown you might be expecting. Plus, if you want the full bot experience, you gotta shell out for the DLC. And those base trophies? They might as well be in a checkmate position, guarded by a wall of pawns and a rook that never budges – near impossible to snatch without the DLC.

has potential to be a game changer, if there was a community and updates and link to chess sites like chess.com or lichess.org

Достаточно клёвые шахматишки, с неплохим графеном, ачивками и разными режимами игры. Можно играть как в сингле против компа, так и сконнектившись по сетке друг против друга, а то что касается поиска живого соперника через саму игру - это такой себе варик, ждать придётся долго, и ещё не факт что за продолжительное время ожидания, игра вам кого-то по итогу подберёт. Есть зачатки тонкой настройки партии, выставление времени матча, для сингла можно выбирать степень умения компьютерного интеллекта с которым будешь сражаться, а также есть небольшой выбор дизайна комнаты где всё происходит, но на этом пожалуй и всё. Нету ни настроек управления, ни выставления разрешения и соотношения сторон картинки, более того что странно, если идёт партия, то никак не вызывается главное меню, если приспичит выйти посреди игры, придётся делать это через ALT+F4. Главный наверное минус, который меня удивил, то что нельзя выбрать кастомное положение камеры перед игровой доской, осматриваться можно во все стороны лишь с одной точки, камера тупо привинчена намертво в одном месте, быть может так сделано чтобы в VR-шлеме не возникало багов с графикой, но жесть как неудобно смотреть на шахматные фигуры почти сверху, неправильный ход можно сделать тупо из-за того что они все сливаются между собой, и делая быстрый ход, пойди разбери глядя сверху, слон это стоит или пешка.
