About

Snipping. Pruning. Eating. At what point are you no longer human?
IF WE MAKE IT HOME. is a short narrative space thriller, where you will learn how far an AI suit will go to follow an order.

IF WE MAKE IT HOME. is a gripping narrative space thriller that explores the thin line between survival and self-destruction. In this game, you step into the boots of a lone spaceman, stranded on a desolate, windswept planet. Your only companion? An advanced, hyper-intelligent space suit, driven by a single, unbreakable directive: keep you alive at all costs.
But survival isn't always as simple as it sounds. The suit will snip away at your weakness, prune your fears, and consume what it must to keep you breathing. But what happens when the cost of survival becomes your very humanity?

Swing around with a grapple hook, boost through the air with a jetpack, but at what cost to your energy? You decide.
Every decision burns precious energy, and every action pulls you further from the person you once were. How far will you go to make it home?

IF WE MAKE IT HOME. is a video game adaptation of 'The Suit', a comic created by Scott Base as part of his 'Bad Space' collection.

This game is about five minutes long, maybe less. It tries to build an atmosphere, but as soon as it starts, the game is over. What do you do? You walk. That´s it. You can use the Grappling hook or the Jet Boost, but there is no reason to do it. Yes, it is for free, but I have seen far better games with far more content than this (e.g. "Rhome" or "Serena"). You are better off playing these games. And why the f**k is there no option to quit the game? I have to Alt-Tab to quit.
This is less of a game and more of a five minute visual novel (little more than a completed scene). Basically, you walk until the suit eats you. It's a neat concept, but not nearly enough to advertise as a game, I could have just read a couple pages of story instead. I'll just consider this a tribute to a short story.

Произведение не читал, но как игра, плохо, от визуала до оптимизации. Удивительно то что там пришлось делать двойной прыжок и гарпун, на 1 минуту а потом отключать...видимо по канону...
