IdleTale is an incremental clicker RPG game. Kill enemies to gain Gold, use it to produce even more Gold while you're not playing and complete quests, explore dungeons, collect loot to gear up and improve your character with all the Talent trees and the further Ascension Upgrades!
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. Copies below reflect the player base, not paid sales.

About
You'll find yourself in a world where everything can only get bigger - specifically talking about numbers!
Kill enemies to gain Gold, use it to produce even more Gold while you're not playing and complete quests, explore dungeons, collect loot to gear up and improve your character with all the Talent trees and the further Ascension Upgrades!
All of this will only lead to your power skyrocketing like you would never imagine.
Start this journey slowly, and day by day unlock more features until there's nothing left to achieve - or so you'll think. Then you'll reset your progress.
But for good! This will only multiply your next game's numbers and experiences by a LOT! (And unlock even MORE features)
The basic mechanic isn't much different from any other incremental game - tap the screen, get resources. Use those resources to buy more resources that will exponentially generate more of that same resource, breaking the barrier of the thousands, millions, billions or quintillions. The way you get resources (in this case, Gold) is by killing monsters. You tap the screen, you land a hit. Enemies have HP, you deal damage. Enough hits, the enemy will die. Then there's a respawn time, which is affected by upgrades too.
You can, like in any other incremental game, buy passive income upgrades (a.k.a. gains per second), which will grant you Gold each second, depending on the upgrades you bought and the number you have. There's also the other type of upgrades - the one that boosts everything else, such as "enemies drop more gold", "this thing gives you more gold per second", or "you deal more damage with each attack".
Then there's the Skills tab - your character will progress through these. More Strength, more raw damage. There's a number of factors that alter the value of Strength that you will discover along the game. Agility increases your critical strike chance, and Wisdom increases the damage bonus each critical hit benefits from.
Then there's the Gear tab. Like in any other RPG, you will loot gear and equip it to benefit from its stats. Mostly addressed towards combat, but remember combat is your main Gold source.
There's the Dungeons, which are small instances with a few waves of enemies and then a final boss. Kill the boss, get XP and loot. Ez pz. You won't be able to spam dungeons to level up, as your character will have another resource called "Stamina" and you will run out of it rather quickly. Stamina is also used to travel between places.
Codex. Here you'll gather information about all the enemies you come across. You can level those enemies up to make them drop more gold, XP and loot (but they'll also have more HP!).

Talents. They will be your bread and butter as you progress through the game. Not only they will look cool and make you feel you're rushing through the content, but also they'll synergize with other features to skyrocket your power. There'll be three different trees.

Glory (Ascension). Just like in any Incremental game, there's an Ascension system, which will boost your stats by a LOT and unlock interesting features.
Raids. We talked about Dungeons before, and now there's Raids! Some sort of Dungeons but with several floors, way harder and intended for end-game content. Their rewards are stronger than most items, and you can defeat a raid once a day.
There's also an Achievements system!

Much of my time with this game was it just running in the background but there's a point you hit after a bit that you realize there's a lot unfinished. There are multiple things this game does right only to screw it up later on. Progression seems decent till you start rebirthing and realize there's 0 quality of life things. Prepare to click 1500 times every time you rebirth to buy skills that give you plus 0.025 attack. The dev has moved on to another game and left this as abandoned as well. Don't waste your time.
Shallow game play, little content. Great majority of hours are the game running minimized to farm for unlocks. Offline progress is significantly worse. Dungeons and raids are not idle at all, require active clicking to slowly progress through waves to reach a boss on a timer. Incredibly low equipment drops from them, making you farm dungeons many times in a row to get equipment that is required to reach the next tier. Most people are using third party programs (like Non-Intrusive Autoclicker) to make the dungeons better.

The Wall - the need to keep this game constantly running to make serious progress, and the active dungeons - is very real. However, I use an autoclicker set at just the right angle to catch the voideyes when they appear, so the grind hasn't been too bad for me. So far the drop rate in dungeons hasn't been too bad either. The unlucky shop helps, though. As for the positives, the pixel art is really nice, with very smooth-looking animations. There's actually a sort of plot going on, which I can piece together through dialogue and quests. Edit: After unlocking the Redemption feature, I've had the realization that this game is much further along than I had initially thought. It's not advertised, so the sudden jump came as something of a surprise, but this game has a startling array of layers for a simple idle-clicker game. Most folks don't seem to ever find this out, based on what I've seen of the comments and Discord server entries. This really is a game that unfolds before you the more you play.
you wait, you watch, sometime you click. its a good time.
Kinda like Idle Slayer Slow progression, not too much to do other than change zones every so often
Its a good game but i can not recommend since updates are stopped and the game is incomplete. Health potion upgrade mentiones you will get a health potion but you dont get it. The update for Raids, it costs 1 mil glory, i farmed alot for it and after i got it i didnt get any raids or new dungeons. The last map mentiones you should check out another game of theirs. Why stop this game to create another? How about finish this one and then start a new one.
Honestly, I don't know if it's me who is playing the game incorrectly, but it feels dishorienting even with the few mechanics that it has, upgrading enemies seems useless, and so does combat in general, you get so much more from idle time and your weapons. I have gotten up to the *actual* combat phase, and I decided to leave it there because I got bored, so maybe it gets better later, but as per my experience with the game, I couldn't say that I recommend it, even if I do like the idea of the game
Remove the music, via options, tweak the SFX. Slide in the Lo-FI Hip Hop, ignore your girlfriend and job, and just embrace the grind! Always go Assassin first and foremost, my friends.
good idle game, like very much the protagonist design
