About
Build. Automate. Transcend Reality.
Idle Dyson Swarm is a deep incremental game where you construct an ever-expanding network of facilities, harness the power of mega-structures, and push the boundaries of existence itself. Start with simple assembly lines and evolve into a civilization capable of building Galactic Brains that span the cosmos.
Begin your journey producing bots and generating science. Build Assembly Lines, deploy AI Managers, establish Data Centers, and colonize Planets. Each facility feeds into the next, creating satisfying production chains that scale exponentially.
But the real game begins when you unlock Mega-Structures:
Matrioshka Brains — Stellar-scale computing structures that consume entire planets
Birch Planets — Supermassive planetary shells housing unimaginable potential
Galactic Brains — The ultimate achievement, requiring mastery of multiple mega-structure types simultaneously
Progress never truly ends. When you've pushed your facilities to their limits, prestige to earn permanent upgrades across three distinct systems:
Infinity — Reset your run to earn Infinity Points. Unlock Secrets of the Universe and permanent facility multipliers that make each subsequent run faster and more rewarding.
Quantum Leap — Convert Infinity Points into Quantum Points. Unlock automation features, bot multitasking, mega-structure access, and powerful meta-upgrades that fundamentally change how you play.
Reality — The deepest layer. Generate Workers to produce Influence, manipulate the fabric of the universe, and push numbers beyond comprehension.
A sprawling skill tree offers meaningful choices with real trade-offs:
Multiple specialization paths — choose between Purity, Terra, Power, Paragade, Stellar, and more
Exclusive skills that lock out alternatives — your build matters
Banking mechanics to save skill points across runs
Refundable and permanent upgrades to balance short-term and long-term strategies
Discover Dream 1 — an alternate reality where you guide civilization from primitive hunters to spacefaring engineers:
Progress through the Foundational Era and Information Era
Face prestige events: Meteor Storms, AI Risk, Global Warming, and Black Holes
Earn Strange Matter to permanently boost your main game progress
An entirely separate progression loop within the game itself
True Idle Gameplay — Earn resources offline and return to meaningful progress
Deep Active Play — Optimize production chains, plan prestige timing, and theorycraft skill builds
Automation Unlocks — Gradually unlock auto-buy features for research, bots, and facilities
Exponential Scaling — Watch numbers grow from hundreds to incomprehensible magnitudes
6 Facility Types including three universe-spanning mega-structures
11 Research Technologies with repeatable upgrades
100+ Branching Skills across multiple specialization trees
3 Prestige Layers providing endless long-term goals
27 Secrets of the Universe granting permanent multipliers
Full Simulation Mode with its own eras, buildings, and prestige mechanics
Offline Progress that respects your time
Exponential Everything — numbers that never stop growing

Great for if you're playing a few idlers at once. On its own, it's very boring due to slow progress. It's fine if the initial run is slow(er) in order to learn how mechanics work, but prestiging does not really speed up anything by a very lot. EDIT: well by the 7th prestige or so it actually does speed up (relatively speaking), but most sane people will probably already have abandoned the game by then. That being said, you're not doing a lot in this game. Upgrading by clicking the same 20-ish buttons over and over again, the occasional skill tree respec, and.. well. Since I'll probably be dead by the time the next locked feature unlocks, and rotten by the time the last one is in reach, I dunno?

I first found this on r/incremental_games when it was first posted and it instantly clicked for me. I’ve replayed it a bunch of times since, which I almost never do with idle games. This isn’t one of those quick 3-4 hour things you burn through and forget. There's a lot of depth to it. There is a lot you can do with skill loadouts and figuring out what combo works best for whatever you’re trying to push. (more science, more money, more panels, faster panels, etc) It's just a really solid idle game. Huge props to Blindsided Games for sticking with it and continuing to put in the effort.
Its fine for like a day, but then nothing seems to really unlock? I used all 24 hours of my saved time and basically seemed to unlock nothing interesting. I guess if I did that every day for a week something might happen? But I bought all the highest teir stuff and nothing unlocked so I have no idea. Needs some obvious direction 6/10
IF you're into idle / incremental games, then this one is great fun. For a free game, with no in-app shop, it's well worth it. You get to automate pretty much everything after a while, and the progress feels fun. That's assuming you like idle / incremental games. Big thumbs up to the developer, keep 'em coming!

The first half of the game is pretty fun. It does have a pacing problem. However the constantly switching between skills alleviates this somewhat, and the game can be setup to run adequately on its own. The pacing issues return at the first prestige layer, Quantum whatever, and all automation is turned off. And you have to go through a 12-hour build again. No, no. I don't care if it gets better, I'm not playing the same part I already beat over again for 12 hours.
It's not BAD but it's not exactly fun either. Still, it's free.
Game will randomly wipe your save and lose all progress. Not cool.
This is a really fun and competently made idle game. Slower than a lot of modern games but honestly that's not always bad. Lots of interesting skill choices. Very antimatter dimensions
