Despite resistance, mankind could not find a way to counter the barriers created by these "Forsaken Gods" and the Oblivia phenomenon, which turned humans into abominations.
Fear and despair engulfed the world, and hope vanished.

After playing Horizon Walker for around 3 in-game days and getting near the end of Chapter 1, my honest opinion is that the game is just okay. Would I recommend it? Not really. This is the first adult gacha game I have ever downloaded, and while people may call it a hentai game, it honestly feels more like an adult fanservice game than full hentai. The main appeal is clearly the Vanguards. Most of them are designed as very attractive, sexy, mature women with revealing outfits and heavy fanservice designs. That is pretty much the main selling point. I only spent around $3 on the game because one of the revealing skins for a base character was on sale for around 85% off. One thing I want to point out is that even with Gentleman Mode, the skins are still censored a bit. So if people are going into this expecting full hentai, do not expect that. It is more like adult fanservice pushed close to the edge, but not fully explicit. The combat system is okay. It is a tactical turn based game where every Vanguard has different skills, attacks, perks, and roles. Your main character, the Human God, also has his own skills and perks, but nothing about the combat feels super special to me. Most of the time, I just put the game on auto battle at 4x speed and let it run in the background. The AI is also not very good, but in the early stages the game is easy enough that it still works as a casual background game. The story is nothing really worth mentioning. It mostly feels like background noise. I did not feel very invested in it, and I mostly cared about progressing, unlocking things, and building my team. My biggest problem with the game is the progression and power creep. Once you keep progressing through the campaign, you start noticing very quickly that your units are not doing enough damage and are not surviving well enough. The problem is that the game does not give you enough resources to keep up. You need materials to level characters, upgrade skills, improve weapons, upgrade weapon perks, and build your team properly, but the game barely gives you enough. I got extremely lucky in the gacha and pulled Efreti, an EX rank character, and also got her Vulkanus weapon from the other gacha area. Both of these are around a 1% drop, so I know I got very lucky. Honestly, if I did not have enough coins to claim Efreti when she appeared, I probably would have stopped playing much earlier. Getting both her and her weapon for free is what carried me to the end of Chapter 1. But even with that lucky pull, the power creep got bad enough that I am stuck again. Weapons are also a major issue. You do not really grind better weapons from missions in a normal way. Most better weapons seem tied to the gacha system, and even after getting a good weapon, you still need more materials to level it. Those materials are also limited and not easy to farm. So your characters can be leveled up, but they may still be stuck using weak green weapons, low level skills, and underdeveloped perks. The weapon perk system is another grind wall. You have multiple perk slots and each one needs resources to upgrade. You also need good perk drops, but those are tied to limited daily activities like Fairy Bounty requests, where you only get a few tries per day. If you want to target farm certain materials, you have to use another limited daily activity, and again, you only get a few chances. It feels like everything important is time gated. Skill upgrades are also painful. There does not seem to be a good direct way to farm skill materials. You get a little from campaign missions and dailies, but not enough to keep a full Vanguard squad upgraded. Because of that, most of your characters end up stuck with low level skills unless you focus everything into only a few units. The Human God main character is also disappointing. You cannot create your own character, the game just gives you one, and he feels very weak after the early levels. Past around level 10, he starts feeling almost useless in combat. This becomes really frustrating when the game forces you to use only him in certain missions, because getting full three star rewards can feel almost impossible. For people who are only here for the adult content and intimacy system, I honestly do not think it is worth it either. The intimacy grind takes a long time because you need gifts to raise your favorite Vanguards to higher intimacy levels. You either have to buy gift boxes, find them slowly, or spend a lot of time feeding gifts to one character. The one good thing is that once you get a character, you can directly buy some of their revealing skins, and sometimes they go on sale for very cheap. Another thing I dislike is that campaign characters do not really join you naturally over time. You meet characters in the story, but you do not unlock them from the campaign in a meaningful way. I think the game would be better if each character you met could join as a lower rank unit, like B or C rank, and then you could build them up over time into higher ranks if you liked them. That would make the story and characters feel more connected. Instead, most of the game still feels centered around gacha pulls. Overall, Horizon Walker is not terrible. It has nice character designs, okay tactical combat, and it can be fun as a background game at first. But after a while, it stops feeling like a chill background game where beautiful girls fight monsters for you and starts feeling more like a chore. The progression feels too restrictive, the material grind is too limited, the weapon system feels too tied to gacha, and the game starts showing power creep very quickly. If you like adult fanservice gacha games and do not mind slow progression, you might enjoy it. But for me, after reaching the end of Chapter 1, I do not think I can fully recommend it. Not recommended unless you are already into niche adult gacha games and are okay with heavy resource gating.

this game have a lots of problem that cause me to not recommend the game 1. when switching to different target, pressing space (use skill button) will revert back to original target 2. there's no guide or clear indicator how to do things resulting some softlock such as skipping Demigod Ascension, now the ascension item stuck in my inventory without a clue on how to use it and worst of all, Demigod is only EX variant of certain character which is GREAT! I cannot use it in Luis because it still SS meaning that I have to intentionally pay lot of money just to gacha for her Ascension material, so this is passive-aggressive mental gymnastic business way of pay to win 3. unfair or unusual difficulty spike since middle of chapter two where quest level are higher than account level and character level are tied to account level 4. poorly design gimmick like Nate from Jester bounty hunt is really bad. this is PVE game not PVP, you don't need to gave Nate minion ability to gave AP to Nate 5. chapter 4, THIS IS THE ONE THAT CAUSE THE BIGGEST DOWNFALL new enemy type are too spongy combine with annoying Gimmick that been present in this game especially enemy elf Gimmick (faster taking action from being damage) and Nate Gimmick (Getting more AP on damage), the level gap spike, turn this potential game into badly executed game. from wanting to continue playing now it turn into simple login to collect resource and log-out. my ACC is level 47 with main squad level 46 - 47 and I couldn't clear 5-2 because soul binder enemy and that enemy is all the worst thing combined; spongy + enemy elf + Nate Gimmick. back then 3 level difference is still doable but now even one level I couldn't clear the mission. then combine with all the problem above and the only thing good you get from this game Schrödinger hentai game with Manhwa (Hour glass figure) body shape
I’m going crazy cursing the mother of your development team! You tell me that after reaching level 4 affection, the exclusive CG is just a two-second black clip? Did you bring your own congenital impotence into this main character? An adult game, and you skip the adult scenes?? Do you want all the Steam players in the world to experience your congenital impotence and the fetish of dual-wielding fries fighting cows??? If you really can’t make adult games, don’t tag it as one, damn it.
I would recomend...before the newest update. The gameplay just became turbo impossible, with nonsensical numbers and action economy given to enemies, with bad UI and visibility compounding the issues. Avoid like the plague for now until devs figure out what made this game fun in the first place.
$22 for a skin? lol, no. I can mod ZZZ for free if I want to see anime tits.
有着最愚蠢的反外挂引擎,它启动时对网络环境要求极高并且不会自己重新连接,直接强制退出游戏并且打开无意义的网页,需要玩家自己反复重新登入 It has the dumbest anti cheat engine, which has extremely high requirements for the network environment when it starts up and will not reconnect on its own. It directly forces players to exit the game and open meaningless web pages, requiring them to repeatedly log in by themselves
First things first, take my review with a grain of salt, since me and this game started on a very wrong foot, so you can tell that there is some bias in the mix... So,,, i install the game and i get a choice on the request of them having access on my personal info and the choices are 1) yes and 2) yes... ... Yeah we are not gonna get along... I go check the comment section among the players and i see comments on potential malware... Yeah we are totally not gonna get along here... Well an antivirus scan gave no negative results so jump into the game and the first thing that happens is the main character commits suicide... and at this point the game is begging me to uninstall it. So... final chance... the reason i'm here. Fan service! The game opens nicely on that department, with a lovely pair of hula hula huge bazongas at your disposal, however after an hour of gameplay those bazongas refused to show me any action. Now fanservice definitely exists. You can just add the game in your library, go to discussions and then to screenshots to see the action. However as far as personal gameplay goes, in order to unlock the "action" you need to get close with the girls and this is done in a very slow pace if left for natural progression, or it will require... P2W... of course. And... boy... the gacha here is... not cheap... Still to my understanding there are occasional discounts for the P2W players that allow a much faster opening of the cultural section of the game... though i would personally advice a h-site... but hey... you do you. Finally the story... it's just the usual, overused and overabused, so nothing to add there... if not for the pointless turns of the narrative... At a point you are given a choice of "pick ONE girl" to permanently add in your team and the game makes it look like it's a big decision... and next chapter ALL girls come and state "we are joining you". You MF had me spend 5 minutes trying to check on all the girls to see who is better for the team and they all just join me anyway a moment later... I don't even wanna imagine on how pointless will half the narrative be in this game... Well you can add to all these the bugs... (i had 3 in an hour and a half of gameplay) and... yeah... Not a fan.
妈了个逼一个韩国游戏拿国耻日当日本角色生日是吧,老子草死你妈了个逼,屌棒子敢骑在头上拉屎,是个真汉子就一起抵制这贱种游戏。
