For an indie studio, Team Cherry increasingly operates with the cold detachment of a massive corporation. Handling Silksong—an indie title with GTA VI-levels of hype—they have a habit of dropping major announcements or updates with zero warning, completely steamrolling over smaller, newly launched games on the same day. It feels like they've lost touch with the supportive indie community that built them, showing little empathy for the splash damage they cause to lesser-known developers.
