Hidden Dimensions 3

Hidden Dimensions is a CCG that has actually been around for more than half a decade, in constant development with each new version improving on the gameplay and balance of the one before it. Having played this game on and off since the earliest flash versions from Kongregate, I can honestly say that this is the best version of HD yet. While previous versions suffered somewhat from balance issues regarding certain factions and certain killer card combos, I have yet to run up against a single faction, or race/card combination that proved 100% effective for all enemies in all situations. This means I am always being enticed into playing a different faction, trying something new. The difficulty curve for players new to CCGs can be a little on the steep side, but if you're familiar at all with traditional CCGs then nearly all of the abilities and effects in use in HD will become familiar very quickly. The same eight factions (nine counting artifacts/mercenaries) that have been there since the original HD are all here, and each one caters to a different play style with emphasis on different combinations of mechanics. New to HD3 is the introduction of Flagships. Levelable, customiseable cards that you will always have in your opening hand and can use to play to your personal strengths. Plus, with the account feature, the portability of saves also means that you can play HD3 on your Android, or iOS device while you're out and about, and pick up right where you left off when you're on the desktop. A feature which I use constantly. If you're a sci-fi fan, and if you like CCGs, there's plenty to love about Hidden Dimensions, and given the price (FREE!) you haven't got anything to lose by trying it.
