before i get into the meat of this review, i want to clarify something that other reviews seem to leave muddy and not well explained, and that's the nudity this game has.
first and foremost, yes, the game does have nudity. once you get a girl into your room, you can have her change her clothes. she will cycle between 3 options. fully clothed, panties and bra, and a third state that involves nudity. but this is where things vary. because the nudity seems to be different depending on the girl you take back. with most, they will go topless. with at least one girl however, she goes full nude. there's a caveat however. if there's anything down there, you can't see it. let me explain.
once in your room, you can have the girl cycle through some poses and some dances while in her various clothed states. however, with the girl i had that went full nude, none of the positions i had her in showed any texture down there. and since the game unfortunately doesn't allow you to crouch, getting a closer look isn't possible. i'm not willing to call this censorship though. this game is an asset flip. no question of that. so i think these models were just thrown in without modifying them or their textures. so while it's not censorship, the only benefit you get from full nudity is a nice view of the girl from behind.
next up, i want to address the mini games you have to play to get the girls to be willing to go to your room. these are garbage. hot garbage. and the sound is loud and annoying. well, this doesn't apply to all of them, just most of them. one is a clone of flappy bird, and that formula is hard to get wrong, and it's basically solid here too. but the pong mini game is slugish as heck, rock paper scissors is as annoying as ever and the tank bombing game is bugged to heck. the rest of the mini games are tolerable at worst at least. but the good thing is, you don't have to win these games. you can lose and still build affection with the girls. and in some cases, it is legit faster to lose.
next, i want to address something i noticed. it's a hentai game where you're at a resort with women, and you play mini games with them and stare at their bodies. does this sound familiar? if you've ever played Dead Or Alive Xtreme, it should. but that said, there are some things that this game does, that DOA Xtreme doesn't, but that i wish it did.
you can walk around the resort yourself. you can talk to whoever, whenever. well, so long as they either work there or are female. the random guys scattered across the game can't be interacted with. kind of a shame, but it does show this game's intended audience. anyway, i love being able to walk around myself. and there are things to do as well. rarely and randomly, you'll find pairs of panties laying around. there's an achievement for picking up enough of them, and when you do pick up a pair, you'll hear a girl shout "hentai!".
but night time... i love going out at night. not only are the panties easier to see, but the night club opens, while the rest of the hotel rests in an eerie darkness. going out to the beach at night allows you to see torches lit up with people partying. and the beach view at night is absolutely amazing. looking out over the water at the sky... it's honestly a treat. i admittedly have nyctophilia (love of darkness and night) so i may be biased, but it's still a beautiful sight.
the game can be relaxing. i love that. it was worth a buy for me. i don't regret it at all. if you're going to compare it to DOA Xtreme, remember that DOA Xtreme doesn't have exposed tops or let you walk around during the day or night. but honestly, as cheap as this game is, there's no need to compare the two. this is honestly just a relaxing game for me all around. and yes, it feels weird saying that about a cash grab asset flip. but credit where it's due, the devs put together a neat little package here. just, one that could use a lot of polish.
