Hellish Scrub

Had to play this game since a saw a little behind the scenes of it :) I really like the retro-like charm even if the controls are a bit janky. Still, fun game! Reminds me of WereCleaner.

Good start on the game. I got stuck in an area with 98% without a clear way to progress. I think that was a small bug? It didn't happen on my first playthrough. I'm used to a health bar draining life and then dying. This game has the opposite which is neat. The dash does have a visual and audio cue but I'd like to see an icon on the HUD that notifies me it's on cooldown. Will there be different powerups? Like disposing a set amount would activate a super-mode for a short time? The music is relaxing and appropriate. Playing with mouse and keyboard worked best for me, but I did notice I was able to use my controller. One of the first areas looks like the character needs to walk straight into a pit and presumably die, but it was just a covering for a necessary path to take! More positive action audio cues would be great. (Like deaths of different enemies sound different, or different amounts of trash accumulations have different sounds, or different walking sounds on different terrain). I like the visuals and I'm excited to see where this goes. Thank you!

Getting a big trash ball feels pretty good. It's a simple short and free game.
