Hell Let Loose: Vietnam

Incredible number of bugs that have required me to restart my game. They locked the squad leader and commander behind tutorials that you don't need if you have played the original but you have to do anyways. These tutorials do nothing for getting good people into those roles and are annoying for the people who already know what they are doing. The AT class starts with the ability to take a gun or a rocket launcher, not both. Meaning that you are either capable of fighting for capable for destroying tanks. If the tank has infantry support you can't do anything about them. Braindead devs.

Though it still has its bugs and issues, it's very much HLL with a rewarding experience for those who love to immerse themselves, roleplay and have fun. And of course the communication, this game wouldn't be what it is without the communication.

i can play 1:25:00 of an entire match and then it crashes on me with 5 min left so I don't receive any progress! Great game!

game is super mid. really buggy and lacks a lot of content. way too many console players as well making your team feel braindead. rising storm Vietnam is way better than this if you're looking for a Vietnam style game. would not recommend

bad game needs a lot of work

TLDR: I fed the beast knowing it would bite me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I knew after how they handled acquiring the first HLL, that this was most likely just a cash grab. I still purchased it because I fell in love with the Vietnam era back when I was a child and first played BF Vietnam in 2004. If you're truly interested I would wait for a sale. I don't expect much from this in the future besides a bunch of monetization. I'd love to actually see it get better but I don't have much faith. I didn't learn my lesson because I really enjoyed Wardogs and want to buy it but I am worried of 17's greedy input and scummy behavior they have shown in the past. They are speed running to be the next EA.
