This game is amazing. Dont listen to all the people saying this game is ♥♥♥♥. If your looking for a good milsim where you actually need to communicate and have teamwork, Hell Let Loose Vietnam is perfect. Also keep in mind this game just came out so more features and things will be out later.
super fun but way too buggy for a release
I refunded almost right away. Bought on launch day and spent 80% of my 1 hour play time trying to get into any game at all after the tutorials, and then when I joined it was just getting 1 tapped from random bush#21251 and then having to run 2 minutes to get back to the action over and over. Very under-baked with almost no unlockables
Death to all sky dragons. This game is way better then the OG to me i love the full autos and maps.
Good game, but still needs polishing. For a game that relies on the map so much, to have a desynched map is awful.
Not the least bit fun. Always getting shot from behind. The tunnels are bogus.
This game has a lot of potential but its currently half baked. Its plagued with random FPS drops and the occasional crash. My friend who is an amd GPU user has had nothing but trouble. The gameplay feels like an early beta or alpha game. It couldve used more time in the oven BUT it is extremely good regardless. When the inevitable string of updates comes out and fixes these issues ill certainly write a new review.
Claude fix the bugs from the beta, make no mistakes. In all seriousness, it feels shallow in comparison with the original HLL or Rising storm (altho that one is a different beast in on itself). One can only hope this gets better within the next year
This game feels like it was made in 6 months by a team with too few people and half the budget they needed. I cannot run this game without freezing and stuttering even with fsr on and on the lowest settings. I have 20gb of vram 32gb of ddr4 a pretty good cpu and am running it on a wd black m2 ssd. Frequent crashing before reaching the loading screen. The graphics are not THAT much better than the original HLL. It feels like there was no effort to optimize such whelming visuals and maps to begin with. And that's not even including the whole other problem which is an unrefined UI, sound, chat mechanics, and player interaction system (such as bipods, ladders etc) or even the numerous, numerous gamebreaking BUGS. Whoever was insistent that the game be released now, whether an individual or group of individuals, has no business being in a decision making position ever again because they knowingly delivered or encouraged delivery of a game to their customers that is barely polished enough for an early beta and lacks the adequate performance that a game is implied to have when it is fully released. Also the game seems to lack significant progression and content, although to be fair HLL is not that much better in the content front. But also I like HLL so I will keep playing. There's a lot of potential if Expression and Team 17 are willing to spend money to improve the game. I would not buy it in this state unless you are truly a big fan of HLL.
Games a blast, the negative reviews are mostly fake, or people playing on 2006 potatoes. Zero issue finding a server to play on, alot are full but queue times are minimal.
