a bit unfortunate that I had to refund this game due to white artifacts appearing across the maps, was looking forward to play it with my buddies whom I convinced to buy the game as well. The tunnel system is a nice touch and the graphics is somewhat decent although the explosion animations for the tank was a bit hard to witness. would have been a easily recommended game if it actually worked.
Schönes Spiel :-)
I think they should have just released the game a month later, because I'm enjoying it a lot more now than at launch.
The XP bar noise after the matches is actually the most annoying noise I have ever heard. Also let me turn my mic to push to talk in the lobbies with friends, or even better, off. The amount of times I died when trying to get into a vehicle because the driver tapped the pedal is unreal. I don't agree with the controller aim assist in this style of a game, save it for console only lobbies. But it really hasn't been a big deal But the game is fun, honestly, much better than the previous one once they patch the bugs.
This game is not perfect. This game is very fun.
THERE IN THE TREES!!!!!!!!!!
cant wait to see where this goes
Compared to the original the player base seems to forget how to play the game. There have been a few really good and fun lobbies with amazing communication as well teamwork. However a majority of the games are over before you know it because people seem to forget how to play the game or what an objective is after the first one. I have spent plenty of time on the original and it's definitely a refresh from the WW2 style, the jungle and maps are very fun despite how few there are and the weapons and classes play very well. But running through the jungle just to get one tapped from someone you can't see or hear to the point it feels like they have aim assist and you have to strain yourself to see the slightest shift of pixels gets very frustrating after a few games to the point you either have to take a break or switch your playstyle completely to even compete. I would recommend this to friends to play as long as they have patience and a understanding that you won't win a majority of your games because no one seems to understand the objectives or spawning or moving around in general. Time and time again I'll look at the map and see half of the team still sitting in a objective captured a long time ago.
It's like HLL started over again, but the core systems and gameplay reflect the knowledge that they've gained from the first game on game design, progression, and balance. There aren't as many maps or guns or customization pieces as HLL but it's a solid foundation and a lot of fun. It's a fresh take on the formula and a new chapter in the franchise, and I'm excited to watch it grow over time as we did with the first game.
GI GO HOME!
