Cons: Mandatory tutorial – I have several hundred hours in Rising Storm 2: Vietnam and HLL, yet I’m still forced to go through these ridiculous tutorials. Bugs: When I disable crossplay in the game settings, I don’t see any available servers at all (even when I select the “PC Only” option). Epic Games Store Launcher – The launcher keeps running in the background after starting the game. Stats tracking, data collection? It’s certainly not there for no reason. Collision system – Climbing rocky slopes and moving through dense vegetation is a complete nightmare. Limited number of weapons. Pros: Nice graphics. This game never dissapoint: https://store.steampowered.com/app/418460/Rising_Storm_2_Vietnam/
Needs some work but still a solid game. The server crashes are ridiculous, and the VOIP is almost broken. Gameplay is pretty solid and still more fun the BF or COD.
this game ran very well theres only a few complaints, sometimes a points name or a downed persons request for a revive get stuck on my screen and my fps dropped from 80+ to around 20 after a couple hours of playing. This game is definitely better then the WWII game but that could just be because i played on pc for this one and ps5 on the first game.
peak.
Very fun to play with friends. Great game and the developers are constantly updating
It needs a lot of work, but there is something special here. They need to fix the server crashes big time. Somehow I am still having a blast.
Don't know what they've been working on the last 4 years but this is garbage. 4 guns and 3 of them are aks also map takes up the entire screen for no reason so its hard to drive a car and look at the map like you used to have to. All they did was but assets off the unreal engine store and put them in. Barely any anti aliasing options except the ones that are built in the engine and the lazy blanket statement garbage unreal engine FXAA and TSR which I have to run at 60% resolution just to get the same fps as at native. But they rely on it to cover up all the graphical artifacts from unreal engine which is just lazy. Don't actually know what creative forces were at work when making this game (hint: none). Edit: also no M14 the ♥♥♥
constant issues with voice chat, rendering issues and crashing. i really want to play this game but it feels like pulling teeth each time i launch it
nothing like first HLL honestly. the guns are akin to roblox wargames, sounds are just on par with it. the community is much more toxic, nobody uses mic, each match starts off first 5 minutes of no squads being joinable or creatable, because NOBODY wants to be squad leader. I will disagree with other reviews saying it doesnt feel like youre in a jungle, while its not DENSE with TREES, its very much so jungle-esque while maintaining actual enjoyable gunfighting. but i cant say the game is good enough to "recommend". yeah ima still play it but like, its rather disappointing in all honesty. kinda fell flat. also, my PC id say is well above "average" and my frames are STRUGGLING, with everything on low, but textures on medium. and ive tried DLSS and without. its tough.
