Heavy Destinies is an abandoned 3D rendered low polygon 2D top down twin stick wave survival shooter with the laziest premise imaginable... zombies. Kite zombies around small maps ad nauseum to see how high your score can go. The game features blank slots where other game modes/levels were intended to be placed but the developer never bothered. That didn't stop them selling it on Steam, of course! After all, games are for developers, not gamers, right? The game features lazy low-polygon voxel "Minecraft"-like "art", making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. A lot of amateur developers see Minecraft's success and assume it's because it looks bad, not because it had unique and appealing game mechanics, and they try to emulate the success without understanding it. It also happens to be easy, and doesn't need any proper talent in terms of game development/graphic artists etc. That's why reviewers are faced with so many of these terrible games with confrontingly bad graphics. Developers must learn that Minecraft succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. The quality here is so bad I wouldn't be surprised if this was a Unity asset flip. They were charging $4 for this at launch, which is a complete joke, and the way this was dumped into DailyIndieGame bundles cements the position of this "game" as just a lazy cash grab.

The definition of scam with tons of paid russian reviews. To make it look more solid, they packed the whole game into another zip file that you'll download along with the game. 23 skins for a minecraft guy and zombies spawing right in front of you. Game of the year edition. For some reason they used text "Coming soon" to define locked levels. Not sure if they're already there in the game or "coming soon". Wouldn't be surprised if the latter.
Warning - Asset Flip!
Well, mostly it is. While there is some custom code present most of it is simply an Unity tutorial from the engine maker themselves (Survival Shooter via WayBackEngine as the original has been removed). The graphics have been replaced by Simple Apocalypse by Synty Studios. The store page talks about "23 heroes and stories". In reality however there's only one story - that of Sheriff Mike - and it's merely three short paragraphs of terrible fan fiction. Everything else seems to be "coming soon", whenever that may be. There are a bunch of unlockable characters but as long as the story isn't evolving (haha) they are just skins as they all play exactly the same. Apparently there's "partial controller support" but my Xbox One controller wasn't properly supported. Since that's one of the most used controllers I call bollocks on controller support. The "game" itself follows the template so there's not much to do here. You get put into a map and have to shoot the approaching zombies until you get overwhelmed. That's it. Hitboxes are terrible as are animations, and killed zombies just vanish. There's no Steamworks support so there's no reason for this to be on Steam. Considering how little "game" there is in the first place the question remains why it exists in the first place, given how many much better survial shooters are on the Steam store. Do yourself a favor and don't spend any money on this trash. It's absolutely not worth it. Веселый тайм-киллер, с приятной музыкой и хорошей графикой. 10 кубических зомби из 10.
i like it its really repative but its fun to play
bots ai is absolute carbage.. step 1 (level 1) is just super easy to get 20k unless you get bored fast like i do..
Very nice game
Extremely boring game where you're stuck shoothing endless zombie clones. There is no story. There are no puzzles. There is nothing to explore. Not even worth it if it was for free. Deleting this from my library, now...
