PROS OF HOI4: - I now have a comprehensive knowledge of the Japanese invasion of Manchuria and enough WWII trivia to last a lifetime - I passed the AP World History exam with a 5 - I learned how the navy in HOI4 works - Got to conquer the world as Japan CONS OF HOI4: - This game will consume your life. The gameplay loop is extremely glorious and addictive. There is nothing like the sadistic pleasure of leading the armies of Greater Japan across Asia to dominate the face of the world. - I sunk THREE HUNDRED hours into this game and now I'm quitting and I hope I never go back. CONCLUSION: Don't buy this game unless you are: - Struggling in school and need something to help you study for a history test - Terminally ill and wanting to end yourself in a way that's more addictive and expensive than heroin. 10/10, would never play again.
