in my 30 hours of playing there are a few things I would like to cover in this review. Quests, Customization, Optimization, Gameplay itself. As a first time player, the game itself is easy to follow, quests aren't too complicated, and give pretty good rewards. There are also lots of first time player rewards too! The community itself- super friendly and silly! Already made a few friends playing and had some really wholesome interactions. If you don't want to follow quests and just want to do your own thing, explore, cook, fishing(my personal favorite) you can! you're not tied down doing quests, there aren't any hard time restraints or even area restraints. Just do what makes you happy. For the character customization, it feels bare bones at the start, but it does encourage you to log in daily and play as the shops rotate. If the shop items aren't your cup of tea, there are plenty of events where you can get other outfits and even some tool skins as well! Adding to the customization- for the home decorating portion, the controls feel a bit wonky on pc compared to other building or modeling programs- however I do understand why they are like that. The way it is designed accommodates the mobile players and their limited controls. So while it is wonky, it is understandable. For optimization, I play on both a desktop and an older gaming laptop depending on where I am- and it plays well on both. I will say for the older gaming laptop I did have to turn down all settings to the lowest for it to run well, and honestly it still looks pretty good. There are a few minor details that are lost such as lighting and the quality of some textures but the gameplay itself is not affected by lowered settings. The gameplay is smooth and easy to understand- regardless of what settings you play on. The decorating process for your home is very easy to navigate, same for changing your characters outfits hair accessories etc. For the "hobbies" such as birdwatching, fishing, cooking, the ui is really simply and each hobby has extra things you can unlock the more you play and level it up. From what I've seen so far there are also community events you can start and play with other players! or you can start them and play them solo (the rewards are definitely better early on if you play with others though!)
