When I started it up and change settings I noticed a few things, my monitors native res isnt available, 1440x900, and there seems to be no audio option so I set it at 4% through windows. The way you have to navigate the settings seem like I'm drunk and I have a feeling they dont save. So when I wanted to go into the game I clicked Tapes first, didnt do a thing, then I clicked on Play and it started. - Why does the Tapes button even exist? - Eventually I started playing, struggled for a few minutes, I felt like I was running in a dream, the experience felt drowsy. So after a short while of struggling I found some small text stating that 'F' is important, alright, lets move on then. I went into the hallway, impossible to see where my cursor/crosshair is pointing btw, and looked at a videocamera went to the right and through the door. Grabbed the gun, why wasnt the button to grab F?? and I started shooting, what should I do next?! No explanation whatsoever. Couldnt move on, my gun was jammed, an empty mag maybe? Update: After a restart I didnt empty my mag and tried something different. I shot the girl and her f*cking head exploded, okay I thought, not the weirdest thing I've seen in this game. So I went to the other side of the pool and went through a door. The explanation that followed was as confusing as the other ingame tutorials. So after a restart I went down a hallway that was too dark, couldnt increase my gamma because the settings dont save just as my progress AKA the continue button does not work! After this hiccup I moved on, a few minutes of walking through a hallway later I reached absolutely nothing except for some sort of a closet. The music was swelling but nothing happened. A wall appeared behind me in the hallway? I could just phase through it as if it was nothing. This is where my short experience ended, not sure if the game has more to it than this but I couldnt do anything else. No save files so I couldnt reload the save and try again on a later date, the only way to do this is watch all the cutscenes and walk through the immense hallway for a solid 5 minutes. I tried to like this game, the graphics are amazing dont get me wrong but the game lacks too much of everything else that the graphics cant make up for it, I'll try this game again in a few months to see if its improved (which I would absolutely like) and update this review but for now its a 5/10 for me, wouldn't play again soon

My thoughts: Gameplay is okay-ish. Graphic options should be there, there is motion blur, which is baaaad :/ Graphically it's okayish if you do not mind that every place is basically having only 90° corners... Wobbling is okay. Running should be a little bit faster
it's hard to get away from dark entity
Interruptions (cutscenes) should be skippable or played once... Checkpoint near places that you can die would be nice. English must be improved for full release. Keys must be more consistent - e.g. use F for every pickup. It's silly to use 2 to pick up flashlight. Door opening is not consistent also - sometimes you need to do it counterwise to logic (e.g. you should push mouse forward, but have to do it backwards). Better audio levels. Sometimes it's just too loud, too suddenly, being annoying, instead of building atmopshere. Also smaller font on blue screens with white text. It might not be visible if someone uses wrong resolution, but also it's hard to read and blue screen stays too long - should be also skippable with user interaction... Full game need more clarification, because here it's just nightmare visions, apparently. A little bit more brighter flashlight would be okay, because it does not give too much vision if either too close or pointing too high. But yeah, considering it's demo, it was quite well done, but need definitely improvements on design, which Developer seems to be willing to do (he responded already on some Discussions).

Prrbt! If you could play the smell of a fart. Its this game.
when you order a flashlight on wish
You shoot a woman, run down several lengths of hallway, and then end up in a Silent Hill 2 area that was booked off of Temu. I had no idea what was happening or why. What do I want from the game in the future? NOTHING BECAUSE I WILL NEVER PLAY AGAIN. But maybe add a story.
