It’s was in fact, really good for an alpha, the stride was powerful, making it simple to get into the gameplay and come upon your own tricks for improving the food prep prior to any real danger kicking in. While the horror factor was ultimately quite lenient, the world-building and aerosphere were incredibly sturdy. Given the animatronics and theme, you might anticipate an FNaF clone, but as an alternative, we got a full-fledged dystopia, finalized with nighttime drives to the diner. The world felt genuine; the steadily increasing horror and the overall absence of jump scares enabled the bizarre, sinister vibe to work brilliantly alongside the unconcerned customers, who disregard any danger and just wanted their Happy's Humble Deluxe with fries. Each thing just clicked; the gameplay was unexpectedly fair for a stress-governance horror game. It’s clear the devs wanted to assemble something distinctive and considerable, rather than just churning out jump scares for content. 🎯8/10 The potential is certainly there.
If Desmond from Lost opened up a burger joint in Twin Peaks it might be something like Happy's Humble Burger Farm. A purgatorial job simulator in which you must single-handedly run a fast food restaurant without incurring the wrath of the omnipresent mascot Happy the Cow. Cook patties, build buns topped with salad, fry fries, take out the trash, unblock the toilet, put away deliveries all while trying to maintain a cool head. Repeat the process over the course of a few days and see what changes become apparent in the world. The universe you inhabit is strange and twisted. It's a little Silent Hill meets The Truman Show. Are you dead? Are you hallucinating? Are you a cow brain in a jar in the future being used to synthesise hormones that can supercharge the production of vat grown meat? Who knows? Scythe Dev Team I can only assume. Filled with great music to locate throughout the world as collectable CDs. It's as important to keep your ears pinned back as it is to keep your eyes peeled at all times. Listen for the hum and the whispers in the static. Obey the employee handbook and listen to the wisdom of others. Remember, the customer is always right, except when they are so very very very wrong. Bizarre logic rules, and there are probably hints of PT here only I never played that but I've heard the reports. PT meets Five Nights at Freddy's crossed with The Stanley Parable if David Lynch were directing a movie version with a script by the Daniels. Basically it's udder madness.

Krótka to gra, lecz pełna grozy i dziwów niepojętych! 7/10
