Happy Color® – Coloring Games

Takes me away I’ve tried digital coloring books before, but none have captivated me like this one. I can color for hours and not noticed the time pass by. I’m completely bedridden and need a distraction other than movies, games or books. So thank you for giving me something that makes me so happy!

Congratulations! You’ve won me over! Edit for National Dog Day August 26, 2026: You’ve got to be kidding!?! You win the award for the stupidest dog picture ever! What are you thinking putting something that grotesque, stupid, ugly, woke, and lot more stupids for a National Dog Day! That goes beyond woke and stupid. I hate to keep saying stupid but I can’t think of anything else to describe that picture that is “clean” enough to print. I’d rather color a pile of dog dodo that that picture. I still love te app… it has enough “worthy” pictures to color but who ever drew that dog needs mental help! I usually don’t review apps. Apps are apps... you like them or you don’t. Everyone has an opinion and it may not be yours. I fell in love with this app... my wife did too...(we’re 76 years old). It was a little frustrating at first because of the ads but I liked it enough to pay the 2 fees for no ads. Love it even more now. I don’t really care for the “super hero” pictures, but, to each his own! The only problem I have now is I spend too much time on it now. It is completely ADDICTIVE! Oh well.. we’re retired, so it doesn’t matter. It makes the day go by! I do have to say... This is the BEST app of all time for us! It deserves 50 stars! For the record... this review is for Happy Color used on an iPad 2. I say that because it sounds like some of the reviews are for a different app... or you don’t know how to install the app properly or use your device. Don’t bash the creators because your device is not working properly or you don’t like the pictures... get a life! UPDATE: 2026… We still love the app… deleted all our others. If he hadn’t done the paid version, I would delete it because of ads but ALL apps have worthless ads… the developers own it and that’s how they earn money… it’s their job. This app WAs worth the $$$. Anyway, I dropped to a 4 from 5 stars because of the “WOKENESS” creeping into the pictures… horned people, one eye, trash, and horrible colors in the newer pics. Case in point…. I’m from Maine. I started the MAINE picture… perfect… a lighthouse! That’s until the colors starting looking horrible, woke, stupid. A sky does not ever look as pink and purple in real life, and I’ve never seen a PURPLE light house…. Very childish and woke. We still use the app… there are some great pictures, but I immediately delete anything stupid looking. The Gen-z or x artists or whatever the name is for them now can keep their trash. Get a life or grow up!

Love Happy Color This app reminds me of when I was a kid and colored and coloring books except I don’t get to pick my own colors, but the variety of pictures is astounding. The paint by number aspect of it is great though, the colors that have been chosen for the pictures, I love. I find this very addicting and relaxing.

Love it Relaxing, satisfying to do and beautiful pictures. I’ve done a few already and can’t wait to do more. I also like that you can start a picture and stop and it saves your progress. Love it!

Pass on this… I made the mistake of purchasing this and assuming that would be the end of that. I will admit that I did not see that the purchase did Les not include unlimited hints. So not only do you pay for the app, you still only get 3 hints, and then have to sit through annoying ads in order to slowly get more hints. If you think you are going to get around that sitting through ads think again because some of the areas in the pictures that need paint are so small and in such weird locations that you have are essentially forced to use a hint. You get 3 hints and the app will repeatedly display an annoying pop-up to watch an ad to give you an extra two hints regardless if you’ve even used any hints. This is so completely annoying when you’re just trying to relax and complete a picture. I can’t in good conscious recommend this app. I would rather pay slightly more then deal with ads, and I don’t think I’m alone. I highly recommend Zen Color, it’s about two bucks cheaper and you get unlimited hints. If you absolutely need the 20 Star Wars pictures or the Disney pictures to color and you’re fine with sitting through ads that are sometimes impossible to get out of, then this is the app for you. Three hints that’s all you got, lol it’s comical. The developers could at least give you 10 to 15, or include an additional option to pay more to get rid of the ads. Avoid this and just go to Zen Color. It’s a lot more relaxing and if you pay for it, it’s ad free.

Excellent Excellent games

Nice but… There are way too many ads. It’s so bad that if you play enough you’ll get stuck waiting for an ad to let you out and it never does. I’ve waited so long that I’ve had to quit the game because it won’t let you continue. Especially bad in the evening. If you don’t mind that you’ll enjoy coloring the pictures.

Love the app But I’d love if more Disney was added more regularly.
